In 2023, dozens of sensations appeared during the election campaign, due to the fact that all politician and politician-friendly media officer wanted as much publicity as possible. The most loud subject was the "visa scandal", agitators shifted in the production of bullshit charges and raised statistic to further powers. Interestingly, TVN24, Confederate and Left spoke with 1 voice, and everyone repeated the messages of the day produced by Donald Tusk.
After the run and committee of enquiry it turned out that there were irregularities, but not hundreds of thousands were counted in tens, while 360,000 temporary visas were granted to employees in a fewer years, mainly at the request of Polish employers. Another urban legend distributed by demiurges was a pension for millions of Ukrainians who worked in Poland only 1 day. After nearly 3 years, not only have there not been millions of Ukrainian pensioners, but there has not been a single Ukrainian pensioner in the function of beneficiary of this purely theoretical procedure. This was the case in the campaign, but it is right to say that in Poland the electoral run continues constantly, and 1 of the things that should be explained is the next "affect" launched by the highly anti-Ukrainian political environment.
On Thursday, president Nawrocki vetoed 2 laws and, above all, there was a heated debate in the media as well as online forums. It could be expected that vetoing the KRS Act would be the number 1 subject and these predictions became a fact. The attacks on president Karol Nawrocki fell from the same "legal authority" as always, but on the side of subsequent and uncountable constitutional analyses, another tiny war continued. president Karol Nawrocki, as promised, signed a bill eliminating privileges for Ukrainian refugees, and it would seem that for this reason the most satisfied should be the fervent critics of Ukraine, but no of these things. Fanatism always turns off reasoning and turns on emotions, to which 1 conviction or word or even a number is sufficient. A couple of hydrates immediately posted 800+ on the Internet, which in itself is not new, but an extended version: "Ukrainians will proceed to collect 800+" launched a short anti-Ukrainian fuse.
On the 1 hand, it is hard to be amazed that more and more Poles are warmly sick of the peculiar treatment of Ukrainians, but with the another right criticism, this is not an alibi for deficiency of thinking. How much fact is in the slogan: “The Ukrainians will proceed to collect 800+”? As much as in Radio Erevan's broadcast, although paradoxically there is no lie here, there is apparent manipulation. Ukrainians will proceed to collect 800+ and in addition have the right to usage the public wellness service due to the fact that it has always been! All foreigners legally employed, paying taxes and contributions of ZUS enjoy the same rights and obligations as Poles. The bill that president Karol Nawrocki signed restores this eternal order of things, while abolishing peculiar privileges that Ukrainians had since 2022. By the way, the same way Polish workers are treated in practically all European countries and there is nothing controversial about it, it is simply logical and fair regulation.
Previously unemployed Ukrainians received social benefits and free wellness care, practically without any control, and only Poland accepted this solution. We have heard many times for this naive solidarity "thank you" from the Ukrainian authorities and the Ukrainians themselves, but attacking the president on the basis of populist and manipulated "exponents" is already a definition of political amok or cynicism propaganda utilizing human ignorance. Yes, there are 2 exceptions to the Act for war veterans and people from PESEL who live constantly with Ukrainian families working in Poland, but there are just as common cases as one-day Ukrainian pensioners. Political and journalistic competition should keep minimum standards, which is alternatively not to be expected from politicians and journalists, but voters must at least occasionally think, due to the fact that otherwise they will pay constantly for their stupidity.
We don't believe in anyone, we don't believe in anything! We look at facts and draw conclusions!
