A man accused of respective crimes, including the fatal beating of a monk in 2021 in Siedlce – due to intellectual illness – was declared insane. On this basis, the court dismissed the proceedings on Wednesday. A 26-year-old goes to a intellectual institution locked up.
The prosecution besides accused Rafał J. of murdering a 49-year-old Ukrainian female in Sokolov Podlaski in 2022, attempted execution of 2 men, and causing body harm in another person.
According to PAP, the spokesperson for the Siedlce territory Court Agnieszka Karłowicz, the court found the man guilty of all these acts. – At the same time, based on the opinions of experts, he stated that at the time they were committed, Rafał J. was an insane individual – due to intellectual illness he could not admit the meaning of these acts and direct his actions," said justice Karłowicz.
