Around the end of the week, experts will prepare the final version of the programming bases in force from 1 September 2024. most likely within 2 days, Minister Nowack will besides sign the HiT liquidation regulation – Deputy Minister of Education Katarzyna Lubnauer sent it on Monday.
On 13 May, a public consultation on 2 draft amendments to the Regulations of the Minister of Education on the programme basis ended. According to them, the content the student should know is to be reduced. The fresh basis is to apply from the fresh school year. During this time, “experts” will be working on a completely fresh programming basis to be applied from 2026.
PAP asked the Deputy Minister of Education on Monday about the number of comments received by the Ministry. – We're gathering this information right now. said Catherine Lubnauer. She added that the consultation had formally ended on 13 May, and that the information had impacted through the online system.
– On 14 May we met with a group of Polish language teachers related to the petition addressed to the MEN on the canon of reading, and on 18 May there was a civic proceeding organized by the Foundation “Stocznia” (about changes in the programming basis from Polish – PAP). We are besides to receive information on this subject, there were representatives of the Educational investigation Institute with whom we cooperate, as well as an expert working on the program's basics. – handed over the Vice-Chief MEN.
According to her, all of this will service experts to prepare for the ministry a final version of the program's basics with the canon of reading and with all the changes to come into force on 1 September 2024.
– Regulation on the programming bases until the end of June (...). It's a deadline we'd like to keep, due to the fact that it's a large job. This is simply a fewer 100 pages, you gotta make certain that there are no mistakes, that in legal and factual terms it is good She added.
Lubnauer besides said that fresh work on the Education Framework Plans Regulation has been underway, including the liquidation of the HiT (History and the Present). – I hope that this is virtually a substance of 1 or 2 days – to be signed by Minister Nowacka of this regulation – informed. The draft regulation went to public consultation on 10 April.
Among the major changes proposed in the task is the resignation from teaching the subject past and Present, starting from the school year 2024/2025 in the schoolroom 1st general education advanced school, method school, manufacture advanced school, adult general education advanced school conducting classes in stationary form and in semester I and II general education advanced school for adults conducting classes in absentee form.
In the following years, this subject is not to be taught in the following classes and semesters of these schools, until the full extinction of this subject – in school year 2025/2026 HiT will not be taught in grade II of general school and method school, and in school year 2026/2027 in class III of the method school.
This is related to the changes announced by the Minister of Education Barbara Nowacka in the basis of the general education programme consisting of the introduction of a fresh subject – civic education to replace HiT. The fresh subject is to be implemented from the 2025/2026 school year in the second grade of the secondary school.
