Go to war. The Empire imposes sanctions

wprawo.pl 1 year ago

In 1774, in consequence to the riots in Boston, during which tea was thrown overboard ships and many merchants and royal officials were beaten, the British Parliament imposed 4 sanctions on North American colonies called in historiography as The Intolerable Acts (Unacceptable Acts) or Coercive Acts (Repressive Acts). The package of sanctions included:

  • Boston Port Act

  • The Massachusetts Government Act

  • The Administration of Justice Act

  • The Quartering Act

And little known, frequently overlooked, but very crucial 5th sanction:

  • The Quebec Act of 1774 (Quebeck Colony Act of 1774)

I will briefly discuss all these laws due to the fact that they influenced the formation of the United States Constitution and especially the first 10 amendments called Bill of Rights. The first 3 sanctions afraid the Massachusetts Colony, but were read as sanctions of a collective nature, which besides contributed to the unification of these colonies and the creation of the Continental legislature of the United States of North America, the precursor of the current US Congress. present the U.S. imposes identical sanctions on states “rebellied” against Pax Americana.

The Boston Port Act was the first of the sanctions imposed on North American colonies. The British parliament adopted the Boston Port Act on 31 March 1774 and King George III signed the bill on 20 May. The bill authorized the Royal Navy to block the port of Boston due to the fact that “it is not safe to trade with His Majesty’s subjects.” The port blockade began on June 1, 1774 and effectively closed the Boston port for commercial traffic. It besides prohibited any exports of goods from Boston to abroad ports or another provinces of the Kingdom of large Britain. The bill ordered the closure of Boston port until the Bostons returned the money to the East India Company (owners of the destroyed tea). The British Parliament and the King stated that the colony was able to abide by British law and that British goods would again be allowed to be subject to safe trade. However, if the Bostons refuse to pay compensation to the East India Company, the port will be blocked indefinitely. It can be said that the current sanctions imposed by the United States on Iran and Syria are identical, only the effects of these sanctions are even genocide!

The Massachusetts Council of Colonies Act challenged and even overturned the autonomous government of all colonies. She assumed that the Massachusetts Colony had fallen victim to a mob and in order to "preserve... peace and order in the said colony", the parliament was forced to pass this bill on 20 May 1774. The King approved this bill on the same day. It must be remembered that the legislature of the Colonies of Massachusetts, was previously formed as an elected organ with the approval of the governor, and was called to life by the Crown. The bill gave the fresh Royal politician the chance to elect judges and region marshals without approval from the legislature of Cologne. The region Sheriffs were given the right to appoint jurors, which undermined the impartiality of the justice strategy of all colonies. The bill besides limited all city meetings to 1 time a year, and any additional meetings required the governor's approval. This bill had a direct impact on the establishment of the first, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth amendment to the US Constitution. Many people forget that the first amendment to the U.S. Constitution consists of 5 inalienable rights given to man by God: freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of public assembly, freedom of religion, the right to petition the government for the correction of wrongs. Surprisingly, US sanctions on abroad countries simply insolently violate the records of the first 10 amendments to the U.S. Constitution. As Henryk Sienkiewicz wrote in the Desert and in the Forest, Kali steals a cattle well, Kalem steals a cow, oh, that's very bad. Everyone should think profoundly about the inalienable right of man to present a petition to the government for the repair of harm done! This is 1 of the foundations of universal law! The past of the full Republic of Poland, since the dawn of its history, since baptism Lives I to this day, revolves around these universal laws and truths given to us by God at the time of our birth! America has discovered the rights our ancestors have shed blood for centuries! The slogan of the first Polish constitution of 1505 is the Latin phrase Nihil novi nisi commune consensus! Nothing about us without the consent of a full conscious society! To full realize the importance of this phrase it is essential to add Noblesse oblige, nobility or as anyone prefers consciousness commits to it! He is committed to discernment, rational thinking, duty, and humility toward the state and fellow citizens who are not necessarily able to bear the burden of God’s yoke upon the noble and righteous persons appointed by God to service the state and the nation. In our history, the examples are Chancellor Jan Zamoyski, Prince Joseph Poniatowski, Roman Dmowski, Maximilian Kolbe, Witold Pilecki, Łukasz Ciepliński, Emil Fieldorf, Cardinals Stefan Sapieha and Stefan Wyszyński and John Paul II. These are the people who, through God's grace and large humility, have been able to guide our nation through gigantic past winds.

The Justice Act aimed at expanding the power of the governor, giving him the right to transfer the trial to another colony or even to the United Kingdom, in the event that he was found that “a court could not be conducted in a province”. The law besides abolished the right to a fair trial before fellow citizens, thereby deleting 38 paragraph of the provisions recorded in Magna Carta. The sanctions enshrined in the Justice Act influenced the provisions of amendments 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th to the US Constitution.

The Accommodation Act afraid all colonies. The bill gave the right to advanced military officials to request better accommodation for soldiers and refuse accommodation with an uncomfortable location. British troops have long struggled with the lodging of their troops in North America. Soldiers frequently stationed distant from the areas where they operated, making it hard for the army to exercise effective control over the colonists. However, the bill did not require colonists to place soldiers in their private homes, as is widely believed. On the contrary, it was clearly indicated that the soldiers were to be accommodated in “uninhabited houses, buildings, barns or another buildings”, although they were to be accommodated at the expense of the colonists. The Accommodation Act formed the 3rd amendment to the US Constitution.

Repressive laws imposed by the British Parliament and signed by the King de facto abolished the provisions enshrined in Magna Carta, a fundamental evidence of Anglo-Saxon law which restricts royal power. Magna Carta is simply a little-known paper among Poles and is not discussed in schools. The United States Charter of Rights straight refers to and besides confirms the rights enshrined in Magna Carta. The violation by the British Parliament and King of the provisions enshrined in Magna Carta was 1 of the main causes of the North American Revolution. But the proverbial nail to the coffin, a drop of bitterness that overflowed the spell was the 5th Quebeck Colony Act of 1774.

The Quebec Colony Act extended the boundaries of Quebec state southwards to the Ohio River, which in practice meant expanding Quebec at the expense of the remaining colonies and cutting them off from the Saint Lawrence River and the lucrative large Lakes trade route. According to the laws, the King nominated both the politician and the legislative body of the Quebec Colony, thus the bill abolished any autonomy. The bill besides removed English criminal law, replacing it with French civilian law, which ruled out a court of law proceeding before a jury. These changes nullified the provisions of Magna Carta. The Quebec Colony Act formed the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth and eleventh amendment to the US Constitution.

The Quebec Act besides provided "free practice of the religion of the Roman church". Quebec was inhabited by Catholics from France. Allowing the British Parliament and King to practice Catholicism freely was intended to humiliate Presbyterian Protestants. I would point out one more time that American Protestants were highly hostile to Catholics, during the Franco-Indian War over North America, Protestants fought fiercely against French Catholics. North American Protestants moved from Europe to America to establish, as Samuel Adams, 1 of the founding fathers of the United States, “Christian Sparta”! To this day, American Protestants do not respect Catholics as Christians due to the fact that Catholics admit the Holy Sacraments, believe in the immaculate conception and dogma of Our Lady, admit the Pope as the head of the church, adore the Eucharist, worship the saints and their relics, deny the rosary, mention to the intercession of Our woman and the intercession of the saints, and besides believe in purgatory. American Protestants respect Catholicism as pure heresy and blasphemy toward God and Jesus Christ. American Protestants have been fighting a non-pardonous war against Catholicism on all continents since the founding of the first colony in North America, this fact being carefully and deliberately overlooked by historians and mainstream politicalists. Any discussion of ecumenism is absurd and nothing but a smokescreen.

The 7 Years' War completely ruined British finances. The English were incapable to handle their debt. The 7 Years' War was a global conflict. England was forced to charge war costs for all its overseas estates resulting in riots not only in North American colonies but besides in India. taxation burdens and external threats coming from Spain, France and Russia's territorial expansion in the far east posed a fatal threat to the full Anglo-Saxon establishment centered around London City, the financial nucleus of Anglo-Saxon, a Protestant empire based on trade and banking. The Christian Sparta of America was well aware of the challenge she faced!
