The increasingly dangerous prospects of the war in Ukraine are beginning for our country. From the very beginning, in February 2022, we were powerfully active in supporting Ukraine and erstwhile it comes to the amount of weapons delivered, in any of its key segments, like tanks, deliveries from Poland are inactive about half of all tanks delivered to Ukraine. I summarized the data from open sources and it turned out that Poland has delivered 330 tanks to Ukraine so far, and all another countries together only 315.
At the time, our government took a major hazard by providing mass weapons and ammunition to Ukraine erstwhile other, far from Poland stronger states held back, due to Russia's possible reaction, from sending weapons to the area of this conflict. Today, those, very risky for Poland, actions of our government have already been forgotten, and thanks from the president of Ukraine Zelenski was a small camouflaged accusation of Poland, at the UN, about cooperation with Putin.
It should besides be remembered that the first policy to talk openly about the anticipation of sending troops to Ukraine was Jarosław Kaczyński, who was already on March 15, 2022, during a journey to Kiev with the Prime Ministers of the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovenia, stated: “A NATO peace mission or a wider global agreement is needed, which will besides be able to defend itself and operate in Ukraine.”
At the time, it was shocking, even unthinkable, a proposal and it was possible to get the impression that Western leaders, including the USA, could have come to the conclusion that Poland was willing to participate in specified an expedition and that it should alternatively be stopped from doing so and to give signals that in the event of Poland's reckless engagement in this war, it would not be covered by the NATO warrant system.
It has been almost 2 years since this message by Jarosław Kaczyński, and in late February 2024, during the gathering of 20 leaders of European states in Paris, the president of France, Emmanuel Macron, did not regulation out that NATO and EU members could send their troops to Ukraine in the future. This substance had been discussed at the gathering but no consensus was reached. There were besides any leaks about which states were to be in favour of sending an army.
The issue had to be taken seriously, since leaders of 2 countries, Hungary and Slovakia, publically and decisively rejected any chance to attend specified a event. However, the substance began to live its life and entered a permanent political agenda. It's almost a day distant from being talked about.
As no country specifically declared sending its soldiers to Ukraine, it was yet president Macro himself who did, and on 27 May, it was announced that French instructors would be sent to train Ukrainian troops at the local camps.
In the context that the ability to send their own soldiers to Ukraine has rejected the United States, the United Kingdom and Italy, let alone Germany, it must be stated that the French are the bravest in the full Union and NATO. We don't know how much courage they have today, but that's what it looks like.
Since Poland has disappointed many abroad observers and has not declared to stand in the first series of this project, the incentives expressed by German politicians (CDU, FPD and Greens) to at least proceed, working from their territory, to shoot down Russian missiles over Ukraine.
And here is another disappointment for them, due to the fact that again no 1 serious in Poland supported it. most likely due to the fact that all conscious man knows that activating an anti-aircraft defence would require, for safety, the exclusion of his own civilian air traffic in a large area, otherwise there is simply a hazard that we can knock down our own aircraft. Another thing is, of course, that integration into military activities in airspace Ukraine means actually entering this war.
German people are small or no longer curious in Poland's security, so specified advice does not surprise them. For those who know a bit of past this may match the actions of Prussia in provoking the January Uprising, or earlier their fraudulent assurances about the support of the Republic during the large Sejm, which resulted in Poland entering the war with Russia and yet the second partition.
In both cases, Prussia benefited greatly, of course at the expense of Poland.
The French besides considered us easy to usage in their business. This is simply a substance known since Napoleon's time, who did not hesitate to sacrifice Polish soldiers in suicide actions, and he said to his generals, "Leave this to the Poles." And erstwhile they ceased to be needed in European wars, they were sent to Santo Domingo to die massively there fighting for French colonies.
It is so apparent that today, with specified an encoded image of a stupid Pole, Germans and French may feel amazed that Poles are not rushing to Ukraine. However, these efforts to push us into war continue.
Most clearly, it is the government in Kiev who is starting to deficiency force alive at the front and so formally asked Warsaw to participate in training of Ukrainian conscripts. It is good that our consequence excluded the anticipation of sending Polish soldiers to Ukraine. This would be besides dangerous, as it would increase the anticipation of any provocative action to drag us into war. Ukraine has not yet accounted for the incidental in Przewodowo, which may besides have been marked by specified provocations. The vast majority of people in Poland are aware of these threats and 71% of respondents to the SW investigation survey for Rzeczpospolita expressed opposition to sending Polish soldiers to Ukraine, and only 9% allowed this possibility.
If France and specified powers as Lithuania and Estonia very much want to send their soldiers to Ukraine, then we should courteously let them go ahead and admire their determination. So frequently and with clear effect, we have played the function of heroes in the last century that it is time to give opportunities and others a chance to prove themselves.
