Lech Wałęsa and a dollar from Rebe. We invitation you to read an extraordinary account concerning the SB snitch and the second president of the III Republic. Its author is simply a associate of the judaic denomination Chabad Lubavich, David Chase.
In 1989, individual offered me a visit to Poland, where 60 members of my household were murdered. He told me that I should meet Lech Walesa, then head of the Solidarity Union.
Although I had neither reason nor desire to return to Poland, I gave this proposition to Rebe during my gathering with him.
Rebe (Menachem Mendel Schneerson, surviving in 1902-1994 – ed.), he replied that many Jews inactive live in Poland and that specified a visit could be helpful to them. However, he emphasized not to encourage any Jews to return to Poland to settle.
During my visit, I met with Walesa. I expressed my satisfaction with the gathering with him, but I besides told him that I do not want to do business with Poland. I explained that my household – including my mother, father, sister and grandparents – was murdered in Poland during the war and that I believe that Poles inactive exhibit a large dose of anti-Semitism.
His answer amazed me. I remember his words very carefully. He looked at me sincerely and said, “Your God is my God”
When I returned to the United States, I gave Rebe a study on my trip. Rebe gave me a fewer dollar bills and told me to give them to Jews surviving in Poland. He besides told me to give any of the banknotes to Poles who either aid Jews or may be good to Jews in the future. He didn't mention any names, and erstwhile I asked him how I'd know who to give the dollars to, he just said, "You'll know."
I met with Wałęsa frequently and during 1 of my trips to Poland he told me about his decision to apply for the presidency. Then I decided to give him 1 of the bills. “This is the dollar you should keep,” I said. "When you become president, I'll tell you who gave me that dollar to give to you. Don't ask me anything before. erstwhile you become president, and I'm certain of it, you'll find out who gave it to you.”
He took the bill, folded it, and put it in his coat pocket. I was told he was carrying it with him until today.
Wałęsa won the election and became president. Feeling that the dollar was carrying any blessing or happiness, he asked me, “David, who gave me that dollar?” I told him it was Lubavizer Rebe and I explained who he was. I told him about my feelings for Rebe and about the deep respect he will give him: about his greatness, his consecration, his wonderful behavior, his knowing of the planet and the essence of goodness; about how he looks at the planet and to everyone he respects. I besides told him that Rebe clearly told me to hand the bill over to individual who is not judaic and who wants to aid the Jews and make friends with them.
Wałęsa was very grateful that I gave him the bill and gave Rebe his regards.
My relation with president Wales continued. I started doing business with Poland and went there often. 2 years after the election, I began to persuade him to visit Israel. I wanted him to have diplomatic relations with Israel.
He later informed me that he and 10 ministers would go to Israel to meet Prime Minister Icchak Shamir there and ask me to accompany him on this trip.
I told him, “When you meet Shamir, don’t effort to appease him, tell him how you feel and explain how you feel about the Jews and what happened in Poland.” He replied: “Don’t worry. I will do what I gotta do.”
I didn't know what he meant or what he was going to do.
During the meeting, Szamir asked Wałęsa about the inactive present anti-Semitism in Poland. He mentioned the PLO (Palestinian Liberation Organization) office in Warsaw and the sale of arms to Iraq, Iran and Syria, which was expected to indicate inactive surviving anti-Jewish and anti-Israeli sentiments.
In response, Wales turned to Shamir and said: “Mr Prime Minister, due to the fact that judaic blood was spilled on Polish soil, on behalf of Poles, I ask forgiveness.”
We were all completely surprised. Those were different words. Neither I nor anyone else expected specified an apology from the bottom of our hearts.
Szamir took his words with respect, but continued to ask about the PLO office in Warsaw and the arms trade with Israel's enemies.
Wałęsa said: “As shortly as I return to Poland, I will immediately close the PLO office and halt selling weapons.”

I personally thought he just committed political suicide. With 25% unemployment in Poland, the decrease in exports had to be compared to the simplification in jobs and I thought that his political career would be over soon.
But he did as he said. He immediately closed the PLO office. I returned to Poland with him and witnessed it. He then ceased selling arms to Syria, Iraq and Iran.
As part of this journey to Israel, president Wales went to the Diaspora Museum. Part of 1 exhibition was a wall with faces of about 40 prominent Jews and among them was Rebe. erstwhile we watched this picture, I said to Wałęsa, “This is simply a image of Rebe, your rabbi.”
He told me: “This is my rabbi? The 1 who gave me the dollar?”
Then he turned towards the photograph and faced him, looked into Rebe's face, folded his hands together and bowed somewhat towards the photograph of Rebe, with deep respect.
The museum’s curator, who accompanied us, said: “My God, what is he doing? Is the president of Poland bowing down to Rebe?”
“That's right” I said. “He bows and expresses his respect to Lubabzer Rebe.”
I told Rebe precisely what happened. Rebe was very pleased that Wales was expanding his efforts to aid the Jews.
I believe that the message of Rebe, given by me and by the dollar, was so effective that it virtually changed the full attitude of Wałęsa and his feelings towards Jews and Israel. Close the PLO office, mention to them as the enemy and halt sending weapons to Iran, Iraq and Syria were drastic steps that were straight or indirectly caused by the message from Rebe.
Wałęsa knew that Rebe sent his blessing through a dollar. And since then I have believed that his actions were in line with Rebe's instructions: “Give a dollar to those who are not Jewish, who can aid or make friends with Jews.”

OUR COMMENTS: It would be a beautiful communicative if it were not for Wałęsa's apology on behalf of Poles, for the actions done by the Germans. It is besides worth recalling that in his 1965 book “Meeting a Word” Mendel Schneerson wrote: There are 2 opposing types of souls; the non-Jewish soul comes from 3 Satanic spheres, while the judaic soul comes from holiness. As for the Wałęsa itself and arguing for 1 dollar, we recommend This The video.
