American entrepreneur Elon Musk responded to criticism from U.S. president Donald Trump, saying he would not have won the presidential election without him.
Trump previously said he was disappointed with Musk, adding that he did a lot for him.
"Without me Trump would lose the election .... What an ingratitude," wrote Musk on the social network X.
In addition, Musk believes that without him, Republicans would not be able to control both chambers of Congress. In another post on X Musk said that Trump's bill, which they both argued about, was not shown to him and was passed "deep at night and so fast" that virtually no associate of legislature had a chance to read it.
On Tuesday, Musk harshly criticized the Trump bill on expenses and taxes, calling it "an abomination".
Musk powerfully opposed the adoption of an extended budget plan promoted by president Donald Trump. The paper reduces national spending, but at the same time provides serious taxation relief. In his posts, the businessman noted that the bill offsets the results of his own work in the public sector and will lead to an increase in the US budget deficit. Musk besides stated that he considered it unthinkable to bring the country to a "financial collapse".
