Łukasz Gibala leads the poll before the election of president Krakow with a score of 39.17 percent. Monika Piątkowska has 23.74 percent and in the second circular Gibala would gain 62.51 percent. The OGB survey was carried out on 15-17 September, before the vote on 27 September. The Krakowians clearly reward a candidate outside of organization duopol.
Gibala with an advantage in the first round
Latest survey of the National investigation Group it shows a clear strategy of forces. Łukasz Gibala, candidate of KWW Kraków for Residents, earns 39.17 percent of the indications. Monika Piątkowska, supported by KO and PSL, receives 23.74 percent and Michał Drewnicki from PiS 14.74 percent.
There are inactive Alexander the Sheep with a score of 9.75 percent, Daria Gosek-Popiołek with support of 5.64%, Michał Klimek with a score of 4.03 percent, Jan Hoffman with 2.82% and Sławomir Pietrzyk with a score of 0.11%. The survey was carried out by CATI on 15–17 September on a representative, quota-random example of 750 adult residents of Krakow.
A methodological reservation is crucial in the published data. The answer "I don't know" or "difficult to say" chose 23.7 percent of the respondents, and their votes were distributed proportionally among the candidates. The poll thus shows direction and advantage, but does not replace the consequence of the vote.
Who's the president of Krakow? The second circular besides for Gibala
In a hypothetical duel Gibala with the Piątkowska candidate Krakow for Residents reaches 62.51 percent. That's even stronger than his lead in the first round. Among those aged 18-29, 73.3 percent support him and 79.84 percent support him in the group 30-39. Piątkowska only regains the advantage among voters in their 60s.
Earlier opinion24 poll for Radio Kraków besides placed Gibala first, although with a lower score of 34.8 percent at 20.9% for Piątkowska. 2 studies disagree in the scale of the advantage, but indicate the same political finale: Gibala enters the last week of the run as the favorite.
His current position is all the more crucial that he brought in early September serious problems with the validity of signatures. The candidate managed to save the registration, and now ahead of the representatives of the biggest parties.
Partial signs are not enough
The Krakow poll is simply a informing to organization headquarters. The support of the Prime Minister, parliamentary backdrop and elaborate structures does not give the candidate an automatic right to city hall. Residents look at recognition, local work and the ability to settle urban administration.
That doesn't mean a blank check for Gibala. Kraków needs specifics concerning transport, housing, spatial planning and life costs, not the communicative of independence. Alexander Miszalski's successor will take charge for the chaos, so run declarations will rapidly collide with city finances and residents' expectations.
The decision will take place on 27 September
There are a fewer days left until the election. Mobilisation can change the proportions, especially since a large number of respondents have not identified a candidate. There is 1 thing for sure: the race is no longer equal, and Piątkowska feels the top force today.
For krakovians, the stake is not to win this or any another organization backdrop. It is about how city money is spent, quality of service and regaining work for city hall decisions. The poll gives Gibale an advantage. Only residents at urns can give him a mandate to rule.
