At 5:00 p.m., at “W”, the full Poland paid tribute to Warsaw insurgents. On the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising, millions of Poles stopped for a minute to celebrate heroes. The sounds of alarm sirens and church bells spread throughout the country.
