A complex civilization, specified as a Christian one, can be compared to a stained glass, but in which any colour dominates, and with appropriate exposure, this mosaic receives its deepest spiritual dimension.
Such a civilization is not, in any case, a one-colour painting, as if Felix Koneczny wanted it. Only simple cultures are one-colour, I would say primitive. The death of civilization, including this Christian one, does not mean the end of the world, or even the disappearance of all higher manifestations of life. It will proceed and display its higher dimension, only in a different way. Why, then, these pains, sufferings and sighs? The thing is, that life in the conditions of all civilization can compare, for example, to being in certain circumstantial conditions.
There is so a saltwater and freshwater environment. There are fish in each, but as we know different. And that's what civilization is to human groups. Today, we are possibly in the mediate of an era and 1 kind of water is being pumped out and replaced by another. any fish die, others swim, and there are besides fewer who manage to adapt to specified radically changing circumstances of life. But how does it look in any detail? What can we see and capture from our past? Is it actual that the European planet of centuries of endurance is yet dying and this is happening in front of us? respective concrete examples observed during this Easter. Let us add that Christianity does not make a spiritual civilization. It has shaped a complex strategy of relations and references between what is related to the dominant religion and the secular side of life. It worked for centuries. However, Easter and the preceding Holy Week was always a different time, which primarily extracted from the surface of everyday life, everything that builds our spirituality. Essentially, this Week was for many times of increased spiritual practice. The secular aspects are, for example, good home food. There is just this image of a stained glass mosaic with a clear color. I did! And today? Oh, I forgot about the music on Good Friday. Even in rather deep PRL it was silent and subdued music in the media. This year, in a provincial town where changes are always slowed down, before noon I went to the local Empik to receive the ordered book. Primitive, actually savage youth music. On the shelves, of course, any rabbits, icing lambs.
But I survived the shock at 3:00. It is known that it is accepted that it is the Time of Skanania. Well, I was called by an authoritative of 1 of the Warsaw offices and began to discuss the authoritative matter, which is the subject of administrative consideration. The problem is rather minor, marginal and secondary. Just in time for Christmas Tuesday. And I thought to myself, this is truly the end of our old civilization, Is the case inactive to be reversed? There he is! But who would do that? Even a clergyman is fine with that. After 1989, I worked with a functioning authoritative with the opinion of a actual communist. On my question, would he want to return to the Polish People's Republic, he replied: and you know, not really...
