Konniuszewski: The Key to History

Question: is there anything we can call the key to past without the hazard of error? Let us not hide from the PT Reader: this is simply a question of nothing but historical determinism.

More specifically, is past ruled by alleged trials? Does this hypothetically existing key have a universal character, meaning can any lock be opened? A affirmative answer would indicate that this key matching all historical doors is actually a lock. If it were a locket, it would mean that researchers of past are akin to common burglars and cashiers, due to the fact that they have the best mastered ability to overcome any obstacles.

Let's not beat around the bush, the temptation to admit that there are locks and the keys are huge. It is primarily due to the fact that past has won itself the position of science. It is taught and absorbed. If so, he must have a reasonably orderly and predictable character. Chaos is not suitable for science. Furthermore, the phenomenon known as past (history) is subject to alleged objectivity. This means that everyone who puts out the course of general cases pretends that his speech is completely objective, so he is not subject to various conditions and addictions. And so it does not gotta be, due to the fact that the authors are located somewhere in time and space.

For there is no 1 we can simply call a Man. There's a circumstantial x, y, z... and we're subject to a law that we can call, for column needs, the flattening principle. Our minds, even the brightest ones, work so hard that after the fact, we are inclined to think that it was actually inevitable. It doesn't gotta be! In summing up this part of the argument, however, we must reject as a missed view that past is determined and there are keys to beginning its gate. Despite the large temptation, we should conclude that this cannot be the case. Even if we presume that happenings have a planned beginning and are aiming at a clearly defined goal. This and in this case you can go in many ways, which here briefly and rather pathetically call fate. And even in the Shakespearean drama, the inevitability of phenomena is simply a certain illusion.

There are always quite a few possibilities within rationalized limits. So, if we reflect from this wall, we can declare that everything is simply a full game of cases, due to the fact that the planet is going on after the trajectory and the actual king of times is their anarchy. Ridiculous is chasing absurdity. But it's not! So how's past going? It is surely not a collection of individual facts and events, which then someway merge into a logical series accidentally – a result. Yes, it is the consequence of human decisions and omissions. However, although they are not determined, they are subject to the qualities of those who take them. So past is simply a mixture of what is random with what is conditioned. The proportions only, in each isolated case, are mostly different. You can do that. alternatively of summarizing the following: the laws of time and past are dinner sauce. It gives different dishes a circumstantial taste and character.
