Other countries accuse Jews of genocide

International force on Israel is increasing. Netherlands and Iceland announcedthat they are joining the proceedings before the global Court of Justice (ICT) in which South Africa accuses Israel of violating the Convention on the Prevention and punishment of Genocide Crimes in relation to actions in the Gaza Strip. These states made formal declarations of accession to the case in March 2026, citing the work of States to counter genocide and support global proceedings in specified cases.

Other countries accuse Jews of genocide. The case launched by South Africa had already sparked a global debate on the nature of the Israeli offensive in Gaza. The conclusion to the MTS argues that Israel's military actions led to the mass death of civilians, the demolition of infrastructure and the creation of surviving conditions threatening the endurance of the Palestinian population.

The effects of the war in Gaza are disastrous for civilians. According to data cited by various institutions and research, the number of victims has already exceeded tens of thousands. Estimates from 2026 talk of over 72,000 Palestinians killed since the beginning of the conflict, and any analyses propose that the actual number may be even higher.

Civilians dominate among the victims. Studies indicate that more than half of the dead are women, children and elderly. In particular, statistic on the youngest are dramatic. According to UNICEF data, more than 50,000 children in Gaza have been killed or injured since the start of the war. Equally alarming are data on women. It is estimated that more than 28,000 women and girls have died since October 2023.

Humanitarian organisations stress that these numbers may be understated due to the fact that many people are inactive under the rubble of damaged buildings or died as a consequence of the indirect effects of war – hunger, illness or deficiency of medical care. This scale of demolition and casualties has become the basis for accusations of genocide. Israeli policy critics claim that bombing densely populated areas, blocking humanitarian aid supplies and mass displacement may meet the criteria for crimes set out in the Convention on Genocide.

UN experts have already warned that the escalation of force in Gaza puts the planet ahead of a "moral choice" – to halt crimes or to passively watch humanitarian disasters.

Israel rejects accusations of genocide, claiming that his operations are directed at Hamas and are a consequence to the attacks of October 7, 2023. What more extremist rabbis and politicians claim, in turn, that murdering goys is not the same as the death of Jews and they have the right to cultural cleansing in the Holy Land due to the fact that it is due to the Torah.

The decision of the Netherlands and Iceland to join the case before the MTS shows that there is an expanding number of countries willing to publically challenge Israel's actions in Gaza. For many observers, this is simply a signal that the global community is increasingly taking the allegations of possible violations of global law seriously.

The proceedings before the global Court of Justice may take years, but it is already of large political importance. If the tribunal considers that there is simply a hazard of genocide, the force on Israel and its allies may increase even more.

One thing is certain: the pacification of the ghetto in Gaza has become 1 of the largest humanitarian disasters of the 21st century, and the number of people killed – especially women and children – remains a symbol of the genocide of the fresh “gentle race”.
