On Thursday, PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński appeared in a program prepared for Polish Radio and TVP Info. Speaking about the Russian-Ukrainian war, he stated that Poland must do everything possible to guarantee that Ukraine does not fall, due to the fact that it would be very dangerous in his opinion for our country.
According to PiS chief Jarosław Kaczyński, it is better to be indebted by arms spending and even be forced to cut in budgets in another areas than being occupied. Kaczyński besides stated that the setting of any conditions at the minute Ukraine is an enterprise for Russia – especially now that a large part of Ukraine is under Russian control. The leader of the PiS believes that the condition of "fair negotiations" is for Ukrainians to recover occupied lands.
"It would be very good for the Russians to just retreat from it and then negotiations began, but I don't think it's very reliable, it will should be recovered with an armed hand," said the president of the Law and Justice Party.
Kaczyński stated in his message that if the gas pipelines connecting Russia to Western Europe led through Ukrainian territory alternatively than the bottom of the Baltic Sea, Moscow would not have attacked Ukraine.
Kaczyński besides referred to the visit of US president Joe Biden to Poland. "He brought interesting concepts here, only he did not present them in speeches, and it was perfectly understandable, but presented them in various conversations," said the president of the Law and Justice Office. According to Kaczyński, the current war will not affect Poland's economical situation. In his opinion, reinforcements are part of improvement – especially if their component is besides self-production.

I have said many times that it is better to be indebted or even forced to make cuts in budgets in another areas than to be occupied," said the leader of the Law and Justice Office. He added that everyone should in specified an opinion confirm the image of what is happening in Ukraine.
"Today, these war-related expenditures – given the tremendous consequences of the war in the economical field and the request to support businesses, including citizens, on various issues – are immense and we manage somehow," he said. However, he admitted that "it is not that we have unlimited opportunities".
"This is simply a precedence today. As forests burn, it is not time to save roses," concluded Jarosław Kaczyński.
