JetBlue New York Terminal 5 Update

The first new concessions will open throughout 2025, with the entire project scheduled for completion by the end of 2026. This renovation aligns with the Port Authority’s $19 billion overhaul of JFK Airport.

Terminal 5’s improvements will emphasize locally owned businesses, featuring brands recognized by both New Yorkers and international visitors. The expansion includes more than 18 new local food and beverage options, significantly enhancing customer choices during their time at JFK.

The redesigned center concourse will transform into a space reminiscent of New York’s famous parks, complete with greenery, park benches, concrete chess tables, and warm lighting to create an urban oasis for travelers. This area will also include dedicated space for pop-up experiences, interactive events, and live performances showcasing New York’s cultural scene.

The terminal will feature an art collection with more than 30 works by New York-based artists throughout the facility, establishing Terminal 5 as a cultural destination in its own right and offering visitors an authentic taste of the city’s creative energy.
