My views 25 years ago were akin to my opinions today. At the time, they were widely regarded as utmost and extremist – due to the fact that I was against Poland's membership of the North Atlantic Pact and the European Union, I considered privatization in the 3rd Poland to be a habit of stealing or I advocated the main punishment for the heaviest crimes. I wrote in ‘Home Week’, and I most likely couldn't compose it at the time “Polish Thoughts”.
Years went by, and I, without changing my views besides much, according to many colleagues from that time, became centrist and critical of radicalism. At the time there would have been no place on the main political arena of Poland for a extremist part of the Law and Justice and the Confederation. O Grzegorz Braunie and his Confederation of the Polish Crown I do not even mention. Besides, radicalism is not only about the contractual "right side", due to the fact that there would not be area for specified characters as Claudia Jachira, Marcin Józefaciuk or duet Biedron&Ślimek. This besides applies to matters of morals, to the communication of information or to the publically utilized language.
The reasons for this change are huge, but the most crucial is the universality of information distribution and misinformation, the anonymity of the message and the extraction of opinions previously classified as embarrassing. Overton's window in many themes has been greatly moved. Today's situation is good and bad, and this requires more analysis and debate. But today, not the sources and consequences of change, but the fact of radicalization.
I had a fewer thoughts with my friend this morning. Bartek Doborzyński about Israel’s leaders Binjamin Netanjahu (Milejkowski). He is no uncertainty guilty of Tel Aviv's criminal policy. However, we must realize that the next generation of politicians in Israel is far more extremist than the cynical nearly 80 - year - old Bibi. 50-year-old Minister of interior safety of Israel Itamar Ben Gwirwhether the 46-year-old Minister of Transportation of Israel Becall Smotricz, are repeatedly more nationalist and confrontationally targeted towards Muslim and arabian populations than the current Prime Minister. They are children of their time, raised in a circumstantial educational system. I no longer mention the youngest generation of politicians and journalists in this country.
As of today, the eccentric American businessman-president Donald Trump He seems radical, and to any of the society he's a madman. However, it is worth remembering that behind the 80-year-old current president stands 43 years old James David Vance (James Donald Bowman)His son-in-law Jared Kushner and a full bunch of major American totalitarians and messianists.
Radicalisation of views is best observed on the example of the circumstantial situation of Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenski. In the short term, we see 2 completely different politicians. All you request to do is scope out to Zelenski's statements from the election run or the beginning of the presidency – from settler to radical.
It's not just a trend. Poland, USA, Israel is Ukraine. The same is observed on the political and media scene Germany, large Britain, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic etc. These are the realities of our times in the planet of broadly understood Euroatlanticism. The spirit of radicalism circulates over Europe and the Euro-Atlantic world.
We must take into account that subsequent generations of Israeli, American, German, Polish politicians are more radical. And on all sides of the barricades: more conservative, more isolating, more nationalistic, more fundamentalist religiously, more Zionist, more turbocapitalist, more left-wing, more progressive moralally, more revolutionary, more vulgar, more greedy, more uncritical towards each other, etc.
You gotta accept that fact, due to the fact that digging into the old planet doesn't make sense. We have nothing but to effort to make these thoughts and actions beneficial to our nation. And wait for the pendulum effect.
The paradox of present is that yesterday's critics, specified as politics Henry Kissinger They truly miss him. possibly we will mention as reasonable and balanced politicians specified as Kaczyński, Netanyahu or Trump.
PS. Today, the Russian Federation and the president of Russia are outside the Euro-Atlantic world. Vladimir Putin. The European Union will avenge him and the vast majority of the political class in the US. And change in Russia will mean radicalization.
People mostly do not realize that after 73-year-old president Putin will most likely come the leader much tougher and more nationalist. He will be more reluctant and little trusting towards the West, including Poland. It is natural, especially during the war or post-war period in which the Russian Federation will be located. Veterans and families of the fallen will want to give death and disability to the close, and that is simply a stronger and more expansive state.
I am sure, in this case, that today's critics of Putin's Russian politics in Poland, will miss it as predictable and centred actions.
