Despite the uncertain marketplace situation and the slowdown of many European economies over the past year, the technology sector remains 1 of the most unchangeable and resilient. According to this year's Hays Poland survey conducted in the IT industry, 88% of companies from the sector plan to recruit, and 43 percent inactive anticipate difficulties in this field.
Stability of employment and good wages
Working in IT remains attractive, offering occupation stability, good and valued wages. The remuneration of IT professionals, although not free from fluctuations, remains competitive on the market. According to the "IT Contracting 2025 Wage Report" prepared by the HR Advisory Agency Hays Poland, 76% of companies from the technology sector plan increases for IT specialists, but only 16% foretell that they will exceed 10%.
The most interesting and best paid occupation offers: AI specialists
Artificial Intelligence (AI) specialists are peculiarly sought after in the market. The wages in this area are among the highest, and their request increases year by year. According to Arkadiusz Wargin, CEE Executive manager – IT & Engineering Contracting in Hays, "the security, data analysis, ERP programs and artificial intelligence experts enjoy a very strong position in today's market_".
Computer salaries: lower wage pressure
The economical context in which technology companies presently operate affects the overall availability of occupation offers and, consequently, besides the rates. According to the Hays study, although there is no full wage stagnation in the fresh technology sector, wage force and wage growth are importantly lower.
