Jair Netanyahu, the boy of the Israeli Prime Minister (a war criminal wanted by global order to arrest the ICC) Benjamin Netanyahu, caused a storm on social media, sharply commenting on the words of French president Emmanuel Macron about the anticipation of recognizing a Palestinian state. His entry met with the reaction of the Prime Minister himself, who distanced himself from the form of his son's speech, though he shared his criticism of Paris' position.
“Fuck you!” — Jair Netanyahu does not dress in words
On Saturday night, Jair Netanjahu published on platform X a controversial entry in which he addressed his words to the French President. “Fuck you!” he wrote in English, referring to Macron's declaration of designation of Palestine's independence.
In the following part of the entry he ironically mentioned another dependent territories of France:
"Yes to the independency of fresh Caledonia! For the independency of French Polynesia! For the independency of Corsica! For the independency of the Basque Country! So for the independency of French Guinea!” – he wrote, confusing Guiana French with Guinea.
Prime Minister Netanjahu condemns style, but not message
On the same day, Benjamin Netanyahu referred to the words of his son. Although he expressed disapproval of the form of speech, he stressed that he agreed with its general message.
“I love my boy Jair, a actual Zionist who cares about the future of the country. Like any citizen, he has the right to his own opinion, but the kind in which he responded to president Macro's tweets calling for the creation of a Palestinian state is unacceptable to me" – wrote the Prime Minister in Hebrew.
Netanyahu besides criticized Macron's position, recognizing them as a threat to Israel's security.
"President Macron makes a serious mistake by continuing to advance the Palestinian State's thought in the heart of our land, whose ambition is to destruct the State of Israel" – he said.
“We will not accept morality”
The Prime Minister of Israel pointed out that neither Hamas nor the Palestinian Authority condemned the attacks of October 7, 2023, which he felt was their hostile attitude toward Israel.
"We will not put our existence at hazard by illusions detached from reality and we will not adopt moralism about creating a Palestinian state that would endanger Israel's existence, from those who argue the granting of independency to Corsica, fresh Caledonia, French Guiana and another territories" He said.
Macron announces the designation of Palestine
In an interview with France 5, the French president announced that he intends to finalise the issue of the designation of the Palestinian State at the June UN Conference.
"We must decision towards designation [Palestine] and we will do so in the coming months" said Macron. He added that “He does not do this to delight anyone, but due to the fact that at any point it will be right”.
