At that time, the court ordered Israel to take all measures to prevent genocide in the Gaza Strip, to punish calls for Palestinian genocide, to guarantee the movement of humanitarian aid to the residents of the area, and to guarantee that the evidence related to the charges against the Palestinian people described in the Convention on Genocide was secured.

At the same time, the UN court did not oblige Israel to discontinue its military operation in the Gaza Strip, as South Africa requested in its lawsuit.
