Poland, like another EU associate States, is committed to receiving migrants. The solidarity mechanics of the EU migration pact requires our country to receive visitors from another countries. However, the results of the opinion24 for RMF FM show that as many as 75% of respondents object to Poland's admission of migrants.
The strongest anti-immigration attitudes were recorded among the voters of Law and Justice and the Confederacy, where as many as 93 percent of the respondents objected to the admission of visitors. These results are alarming due to the fact that they show that most Poles are not willing to accept migrants.
Only 5% of respondents were powerfully in favour of receiving migrants, while 15% were in favour. The vast majority, or 51%, is powerfully opposed to the admission of migrants and 24% have put the option alternatively against.
The results of the survey besides show that there are 78% of men and 73% of women against the admission of visitors from another countries. The top support for the admission of migrants was recorded in the oldest age group (60+), where 22% of respondents expressed affirmative opinions about the admission of visitors.
The results in the remaining age groups are very similar, with 21% affirmative indications in the youngest (18-29 years) and 20% in those 30-39 years old. It is clear that most respondents in each age group are opposed to receiving migrants.
