“Iluzyt” – the title of telling 1 of the best Polish discipline fiction writers Janusz Zajdla.
Years ago, he warned against the danger of arms and atomic destruction, asked about the meaning of human life, pondered about the threats of civilization which we ourselves make by demanding advancement at all costs, although we lose something much more valuable along the way: human dignity and the right to decide our fate. He besides wrote about governing through fear and formatting people's consciousness for the usage of political psychopaths.
Today, many of his fantastic visions become reality, a threatening MEMENTO hanging over our heads. Unfortunately, most of us love surviving in unconsciousness, in a bubble of illusion, in pink balloons of carelessness.
And there are many in our lives. Like General Władysław Anders' myth. A book about him written by Kazimierz Sidor entitled “In captivity with Anders” is vain to look in bookstores or libraries. This is not a beletristism or a communicative by the author of fantasymagoria, but a memoir of soldiers of the 2nd corps, their testimony, reports, requests and letters about the large harm that has become the Nation and the Polish State. What am I talking about? The repression of soldiers wishing to return to their homeland after the war. They were insulted, robbed, forced to waive all claims for military service. Many were held in prison cells and put before a field court: "...for war crimes with Article 46". Like Corporal A. Mieszkowski.
That's enough. Command of the 2nd corps ordered sub-commissioned beatings of soldiers wishing to return to Poland. The assault records were besides made by elder officers. Fire Master Stephen Koralewicz reported: “The people leaving the branch are being cast stones. The Major of the unknown name jumped to the car with a baton and started beating the soldiers sitting in it, watched it calmly Colonel Krajewski".
Kazimierz Sidor wrote: The intent of the emigration political group focused on Andersa was to return to relations before 1939, to keep power in the hands of the sanctioning group, to overturn specified crucial reforms for the Polish Nation, as agricultural improvement and nationalization of dense industry, and, above all, to make a convenient base from Poland for fighting against all democracy and anti-Soviet action. These tasks were carried out by organizing diversion actions against the government of the fresh Poland, aiming to "...create specified a situation in a country that would force the United Kingdom and the United States to intervene armedly in favour of this reaction group".
The book “In captivity with Anders” was published in 1947 in Rome, and its author Kazimierz Sidor, was then a colonel and head of the Polish military mission in the eternal city.
Another product of solidarity propaganda is the story depicting the Polish People's Republic as an economical and intellectual desert with empty store shelves, and additionally full of terror.
Lord Macaulay, a historian and politician who prepared the British colonization program of India in 1835, said in the English Parliament: “I drove India along and across, and I did not see a single individual who would be a beggar or a thief. specified wealth as I have seen in this country, so advanced moral values, people of specified a kind that I don't think we could always conquer this country until we break the backbone of this nation's spiritual and cultural heritage.
For this reason, I propose that we replace his old and ancient educational strategy and his culture, due to the fact that only erstwhile the Hindus begin to think that everything that is abroad and English is good and greater than their own, they will lose respect for themselves, their national culture and become what we would like to become, or a truly dominated nation." In Poland too, unfortunately, it worked. We have free ourselves of all industry, investigation institutes, laboratories, culture, in short the valuable achievements of 2 post-war generations.
I late read a book edited by 2 young PhD students at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń: Marcin Hlebionk and Rafał Moczkodan "Four Armours and a Dog – Around Cultural Phenomenon". The lid on the last page of the cover amazes: "...with limited access to culture in the Polish People's Republic ...", and shows cognitive misery and bias in the approach to the period of People's Poland. After all, schools were established in all village, libraries were organized, clubs were organized, and writers, painters, actors were invited to attend, and after the war there were travelling cinemas. The books were beautifully published, in hard, frequently canvas luminaires with illustrations of masters and cost pennies. So is the press. Do you know why the “Young World” price is set at 50 cents? due to the fact that the editorial board came to the right conclusion, but not very uplifting, that there would be any bottles everywhere that the kid could buy and buy his gas. And 50 cents was paid for the wine bottle.
In the mid-1990s, libraries and clubs began to be liquidated in the villages, as unprofitable and unprotected institutions of the Polish state. This started for Prime Minister Jan Krzysztof Bielecki, who on October 19, 1991 with 1 signature liquidated PGRs. respective million Poles were thrown out of the brackets of society. Poverty, alcoholism, tragedy, suicides, unemployment was huge, and the only comforter was Arizona wine bought for pennies. uncovering a fresh occupation was hard due to the fact that the state began to liquidate transport connections, both railway and bus connections. In 2018, the Jagiellonian Club estimated that this situation affected 14 million people.
Today many Poles cannot afford to buy books simply due to the fact that they are expensive. And this is where the state should work.
Wikary in episode 69 of the sixth series “Rancza” says: “Children must read as much as possible from birth. How else can the hunger for cognition and the planet awaken in them? How to form humanity? TV? What would humanity be if it wasn't for books? Bunch of savages and troglodytes. He who reads the wisdom of the planet knows generations. A kid to read and urge, that is the first parent duty. Same as feeding. And a child's chance not to become a wise man is sin."
I will finish with a fragment of the communicative by Janusz Zaj for ILUZYT. Things happen on Earth in a different dimension. So that the average citizen does not realize the essence of the conflict and does not know the truth, the decision-makers make him set up a flashback block, and then turn on the “stupidotron” (the fool):
"I saw a fewer flashes, the escapees abruptly ignited orange and turned into 3 piles of hot ash. The reaction of our hero is interesting: I didn't realize anything, but I didn't want to realize it either, it was inactive blissful and carefree. I started laughing for a good comedy. (Janusz A. Zajdel, IllustrateOur Bookstore 1976, pp. 196 and 198.
Does this remind you of anything?
