Christmas will be soon, but many people are already considering fish prices, especially carp. Paweł Wielgosz, president of the Organization of Producers – Poland Carpensures that this year's carp request has been met, which translates into a favourable year for breeders. This means good news for buyers – the possible of price stabilisation in the coming period.

This movement of carp takes place twice a year – in spring there is restocking, and in autumn fishing of fish from reservoirs.
Currently, the fish harvesting period is coming to an end, allowing experts to estimation the amount of fish that will enter the market. Speaking on the availability of carp this year, the expert calms down, indicating a unchangeable marketplace situation. There are indications that consumers' request for this fish will be met.
– We very much hope that after fresh hard and uncertain years our manufacture has returned to normality – he says. The large believer admits that, above all, it was a reasonably "good year for breeders". “We had a long warm September, and as you know, carp likes hot water,” he admits.
This year, thanks to the increased quantity of fish, prices should not increase – so it provides further information. That means, for example, carp will cost between 25 and 30 PLN per kilo in retail stores, while payments, i.e. the most sought-after parts of carp, should be available for about 45 PLN per kilo.
