The Hungarian Centre for Fundamental Rights, which organises the Conservative Conference of Political Actions (CPAC) in Budapest in April, announced US president Joe Biden "person non grata", joking that those who may get lost on phase cannot participate in the event.
"The main request for CPAC guests in Hungary is not to get lost on stage. Joe (Biden) was not ready to meet the minimum conditions," said the organizers on Facebook (an extremist social network banned in Russia), publishing a image of Biden with the signature of "person non grata".
The reservations and behaviour of the current U.S. president regularly rise doubts about his ability to do his job, frequently becoming a reason for jokes. Sometimes Biden confuses names or positions present, there have been cases erstwhile he resorted to aid others in seeking to get out of the stage. In addition, the president of the United States repeatedly tripped on stairs and air ramps, falling off his bike, turning around to shake his hand empty.

In late April Budapest will host the Conference of Conservative Political Action (CPAC) for the 3rd time. In 2022, erstwhile US president Donald Trump sent a video message to the conference. It is not yet known whether Trump will participate in this year's event. The Hungarian abroad Minister Péter Szijártó noted that the Hungarian authorities would be happy to see Trump in Budapest in any capacity, regardless of whether he is simply a candidate, president-elect or individual else.
Earlier, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, giving a speech on the plans for 2024, said that the policy of EU leaders is highly far from the interests of average Europeans, that changes are needed in Brussels and that Hungary, during the EU Presidency, intends to "make Europe large again", paraphrased Trump Make America large Again.
Orban expressed his support for Trump erstwhile he was indicted. In particular, he published a joint photograph with Trump taken in August 2022 at the U.S. President's property in Bedminster, fresh Jersey, before a speech at the CPAC beginning in Dallas at Trump's invitation. Orban again went to the US in March 2024, where he interviewed Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate.
