How's the old lady's friend?

The relationship pipeline is 60 years old and is retired. erstwhile the foundation of the establishment of the central European refinery industry, present destroyed by sanctions and closed. However, in each country his past is different. Let us take a look at Hungary and the Czech Republic.

Friendship is the largest oil pipeline strategy in the world. It transmits oil at a distance of 4,000 kilometres, and its pipes are nearly 9,000 kilometres long. It officially opened on October 15, 1964, or 60 years ago. For many years, he has been sending immense amounts of oil from the russian Union, and later Russia, to (sometime soy and now usually hostile) states of our region.

Over the last fewer years we have been widely threatened by the fact that “Russia will turn the oil tap” on this pipe, in order to blackmail the countries receiving oil. The spells about energy safety and the essential diversification have been repeated indefinitely. This proved to be nothing but a lie to the mediocre with a spirit. In fact, it was precisely the opposite. It was us (Europe to the company with America) who turned Russia's oil tap, not ours. This West struck with embargoes, sanctions, maximum prices for Russian oil. The aim of this economical war was primarily the relationship pipeline. So let us take a look at how different countries in Central Europe behave towards this retirement of old friends. Which, let us add, constitutes “to be or not to be” the refining manufacture of our region.

As we read in the preceding article (https://myślpolska.info/2024/11/21/game-fight-o-rope-with-kiyov-i-Brussels/, Hungarians conflict hard to keep supplies from Russia, going completely against the current, despite the powerful force of the large Western world. They make money on oil from the east. And what is unthinkable in Poland, they are expanding the confederate thread of Friendship! Under Russian oil!

The wizards approach the problem pragmatically and strategically. They are convinced that Europe will return to energy cooperation with Russia erstwhile this war is over. And it's worth being prepared for. In June 2023, the governments of Hungary and Serbia signed an agreement to build a fresh oil pipeline that would flow oil from Russia. For Hungary is firmly guarding what they won at the beginning of the war (https://myślpolska.info/2022/05/18/Hungarian-dawid-Brussel-goliata/ – that the embargo on Russian oil does not include the relationship pipeline.

Hungary is simply a phenomenon in our region, the only place where this investment from the time of the socialist camp is regarded as a valuable possible for economical development. They are late joined by Slovakia, where the only refinery in Bratislava is owned by Hungarian MOL, as it knows precisely how painful it will be to close the friendship.

For the countries of Central Europe, without access to the sea, the problem is that oil from another directions would pay much more if it was received at all. And this is the case of the Czech Republic. They proceed to benefit from very inexpensive oil from the east today, which inactive flows to Litvínova and Kralup. Russian oil covers half of Czech needs and the another provides the TAL (Transalpean) pipeline. Not even directly, due to the fact that it only supplies the refineries of confederate Germany, and the connected IKL pipeline (Ingolstadt-Kralupy-Litvínov).

However, Czechs are not militant Hungarians, with little concern for their own interests. They are heavy pressured to end it, as well as publically attacked by information war mercenaries. They are not immune to specified pressures, and the additional force goes through very primary in these matters Poland, due to the fact that it is known that the owner of Czech refineries is Orlen.

So the Czechs began to grow the TAL (Transalpine Oil Pipeline) pipeline after years of twisting, you know, so much, you understand, diversification important, but it costs, oil road, so a small longer... But the war isn't a large deal anymore, the pipelines are blowing up, so the negotiations for the TAL expansion have begun seriously. The upgraded pipeline will double today's oil import capacity and full meet the needs of refineries in the Czech Republic (8 million tonnes per year). I want it ready by the end of this year.

And then those who are now pressuring that “Czechs have ended their 60-year dependency on Russian oil”. present this is not a dependency, it is simply a "advantage", a real dependence and (non)energy safety will begin erstwhile the Czech refineries of Orlen hang on 1 of the Mediterranean pipes to which the ends have joined. But you won't read about it in any newspaper. Today's sustainable supply strategy (fifts) is to be destroyed and the Czech Republic will be "hanging" on the end of 1 tube only. I see diversion in crystal clear form. Not only about turning the cock on, we were pushed into various blankets.

The place is almost finished, and I, in the mediate of the story... invitation you to the next edition of Polish Thought.
