The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) issued an urgent warning: As of the next Saturday, the full of Poland will be affected by a vast low from Scandinavia. Synoptics agree – for the next fewer days, the aura will match autumn more than the mediate of summer, bringing with it intense rainfall, strong storms and storms. This means changing the vacation plans for many families and tourists who hoped for a sunny holiday.
The coming days are not just rain, but the actual offensive of the autumn aura. In any regions it will fall up to 30 mm of rain per day, and the wind reaches a velocity of up to 80 km/h, which poses a real threat. Experts call for caution and follow current messages. Saturday: A rainy invasion from the North – where will the most fall?
Already on Saturday, millions of Poles will wake up in a rainy reality. Almost nationwide, since early morning hours, are expected heavy rainfall, which in places can scope up to 25 mm. This is simply a crucial amount of water that can lead to local subsoil, especially in urban and lower areas. According to IMGW forecasts, the biggest showers and associated storms will hit the confederate and central regions of Poland. This means that inhabitants of Małopolska, Silesia, as well as Mazovia and Łódź should be prepared for the most dynamic weather conditions.
The temperatures, although inactive summer, will be much lower than in fresh days. What's more, precipitation can be even more intense than on Saturdayand in the east of Poland will fall not exceeding 30 mm of rain. These are values that can lead to major handicaps, including local flash floods.
But the real threat will be the wind. During storms, its velocity can scope up to 80 km/h, which constitutes a hazard of breaking branches, damaging trees, and even breaking power lines. Drivers and tourists should take peculiar care, avoid travelling during storms and safe loose items on balconies or gardens. The warmest will be in the center and in Lublin and Podkarpacie, where thermometers point around 27°C, however, in the west of the country the temperature will fall to just 19°C, and in the northeast it will stay within the limits 20-22°C.
The beginning of the fresh week, or Monday, will bring clear cooling. Temperatures in most regions will emergence 21-22°C, and at the confederate ends they will fall to only 17°C. Though the storms will stop, the rain will proceed to accompany us for most of the day. The storms will happen only locally, mainly at the interface of Warmian-Masurian and Podlaskie provinces. In summary, the next days will bring the weather, which is much more suitable for October than August. alternatively of beaching, sunbathing and grilling, it is worth preparing for a fewer days with an umbrella, boots and warm tea in the main role.
