On May 28, 1981, Stefan Wyszyński – the primate of Poland, died after a severe illness. He was a large authority, a patriot and a man with a sense of humor, who spoke of himself “As you can see, I have converted!” I'll tell you about a primacy you don't know. His schoolmate Franciszek Jastrzębski mentioned him like that. "Stephan wasn't so sacred at first! He liked to pull girls' hair. And if we did not want the test we poured ink out of the squid or we stuffed it with a paper.” He didn't like to learn, He hated math. He preferred to play at home with his sisters.

During the fun, he happened to be so upset with them that he ripped out their rag dolls and burned them in the oven. While his father was going to punish him, he hid under the piano. The sisters stood in solidarity in his defense, saying, “He will improve, he will convert...” “As you can see, I converted!” – he later joked in 1 of the sermons

Stefan Wyszyński was born on 3 August 1900 in a tiny village of Zuzela in Mazowsze as the second kid of Stanisław and Julianna. The parent took care of the house, the father was an organist in a local church and a known socialist in the area. There was a spiritual and patriotic atmosphere in Wyszyński's house.

After private lessons that Stefan took in his household home under his father's supervision, he had already received further education at the Men's Junior advanced School in Warsaw and then at the Men's advanced School in Łomża. After graduating from junior high, he decided to join the seminary.

In this way Stefan Wyszyński went to Pius X advanced School, which served as a lower seminary in Włocławek. There, after 7 years of education, in the summertime of 1924 he accepted priestly glows.

The priestly celebrations were accepted on 3 August 1924 in the Moscow Cathedral Basilica by Bishop Wojciech Owczark.

From 1925 to 1929 he was a student of the Faculty of Canon Law and the Faculty of Law and economical and Social Sciences of the Catholic University of Lublin, who graduated with a doctorate on Family, Church and State Law to school.

1929-1930 He made a technological journey to Austria, Italy, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. His interests included the problems of trade unions, Catholic workers' youth organizations, and above all doctrines and social movements. The consequence of this journey was the publication “The Main Types of Catholic Action Abroad” (Lublin 1931).

In 1931, he was a vicar in the parish of the Holy household in Przedcza. He served as a pastor in the Association of Academic Youth, the Rebirth and Christian Professional Unions. He was the editor-in-chief of the "Atheneum of Leviticus". From 1937 he was a associate of the Social Council at the primacy of Poland.

A thousand-dollar war.

The outbreak of planet War II found Stefan Wyszynski in Włocławek. He was wanted by the Gestapo in the fall of 1939. The auxiliary bishop of Włocławski Michał Kozal, in the interests of his safety, ordered him to leave the city. Wyszynski spent most of the war in hiding.

Initially, he hid in Wrocizew, then under Warsaw, to yet go to Kozlowa to Lublin, where in the property of Alexander and Jadwiga Zamoyski he took care of refugees from the war-torn country. Another place he went was Zakopane and Żułów, where he met with priest Korniłowicz.

It was for his instigation that he went to the Podwarszawskie Lasek in 1942, where he served as chaplain and catechist in the center of dark children. At the same time, he taught secret teaching to students in Warsaw, including the University of Warsaw and the University of Western lands.

In addition to kid care and secret teaching, priest Wyszyński served as chaplain of the Home Army, to which he joined in the spring of 1944,

HOW WYSZYŃSKI WAS , «RATED III’ WARSZAWSKA REST.

He was brought into the conspiracy by priest Jerzy Bashkiewicz, a parish vicar in Wawrzyszzew, then in the suburbs of Warsaw. The clergy have known each another since Wyszyński asked Bashkiewicz to become a confessor of the warded home for the darkened in 1942.

In 1944, the vicar served as chief chaplain of the Campino forest. He asked close priests to join the chaplain service. Wyszyński, though he was definitely older than most of them, did not hesitate a moment.

He adopts the nickname Radwan III. During the Warsaw Uprising, he held the duties of the chaplain of the group “Kampinos” of the Home Army.

"He was the main sedative of the heavy wounded guerrillas. Had it not been for his personality, I am convinced that we would not have survived this period" – said Captain Józef Szczkowski, commander of the “Kampinos” Group of the Home Army on Polish Radio.

Wyszyński helped as much as he could. He gave sacraments, washed bandages, changed dressings, erstwhile had to carry an injured orderly for 4 km on his back.

The first-aid kit, in which “Radwan III” wore medical bubbles, made for Wyszyński sister Franciscan Servants of the Cross from a shoe box and fragments of leather stripes.

He besides supported those undergoing surgery. During his first surgery, he passed out. 1 of the wounded insurgents carried 4 km on his back, and in later years he married her, then baptised many children.

After the fall of the uprising, respective German officers – doctors working there – came to Fr Wyszyński working in a infirmary close Izabelin. They showed the future Primate a image of Christ’s figure from the front of the church of the Holy Cross, lying on the street pavement.

The Germans were amazed that Christ seemed to point the finger at the church and the inscription on the circle: “Sursum corda” (“Up the Heart”). 1 of them said, "Ist noch Polen nicht verloren" ("Poland has not died yet).

After the war. COMUNISTIC REPRESENTATIONS.

Even before the war ended, in March 1945 he returned to Włocławek, a seminary destroyed during the war, which he was besides the rector in the first period.

Due to the hard conditions in which the Church was in Poland, Wyszyński acted on the basis of peculiar proxies from the Vatican, giving him powers of papal legate. He was bet on a crowd of UB associates and then SB.

The Primate's household was besides harassed – his half brother, Lieutenant Tadeusz Wyszyński "Grey", was arrested in 1948, with the allegation that as a soldier of the National Armed Forces he was active in the execution of a communist activist. However, safety could not prove it.

On Good Friday 1949 there was a gathering between the Primate and the “failed” Julia Brystygierova, who was the manager of the 5th Department of the Ministry of Public safety and dealt, among others, with the fight against the Catholic Church.

ARRESTINATION OF THE WYSTAL CARDINAL.

Throughout the time, the communists tightened the line of action with the Church. The Primate tirelessly repeated to his colleagues: "We are not offended, we talk." It is uncertain erstwhile the communist authorities decided to arrest him. It is known that this word has been shifted respective times.

Stalin told Birut that he was not an art to arrest Wyszynski, but the art is to make him a communist. erstwhile he found that this was not possible, he decided that he should be arrested in January 1953. This was most likely not due to the appointment of Archbishop Wyszynski as cardinal.

There is much evidence that the decision to detain the priest was taken by the Polish side without consulting Moscow. Cardinal Wyszynski was arrested on 25 September 1953. The first place to be imprisoned was Ryvald. On 12 October, he was transported to the Monastery Stoczka, and on 6 October 1954 to Prudnik, Opole.

It was only erstwhile he was arrested by the Communists in October 1953 that he could compose to his father: I was already afraid that I would not get the honor that almost all my colleagues had. Today, fear has left me, and that is why I rejoice in a way you will understand.

On 7 October 1955, the authorities proposed to Wyszyński a transfer to monastery isolation, which would importantly improve his surviving conditions, while demanding that he relinquish his church functions. The offer was rejected.

On October 27, that year, the Primate was transferred to Komancza. It was there, at the last place of internment, that the celebrated Jasna Góra Vows of the Polish Nation were created to supply spiritual preparation for the celebration of the Millennium Baptism of Poland, and the large Novena Millennium.

Millennium and the large Novena were intended to reverse the effects of communist laicization and lead to the recatolization of Poles.

After 3 years in prison, the communists decided to release the Primate Stefan Wyszyński. On 26 October 1956, the Cardinal returned to Warsaw from his last internment in Komancza.

VICTORIAL STEPHAN WYSZYŃSKY.

Action SB cryptonym ,,PROROK’ Long before the sinister Jaruzel WRONa, the Primate nation compares itself to an age-old, tall tree. The Primate wrote a prophetic and beautiful text about the WRONG:

"WRONE's seat on the forehead of a lofty fir. She looked bossily around and issued a cry of victory. This screaming appearance seems to be actual that the fir owes it all: its existence, its slender beauty, its permanent greenness, its strength in the fight against the winds. The nerve of the crow is admirable. A large benefactor standing quietly on a fir.

And the fir shall not move; the crows shall not be seen; and she shall be amazed, she shall draw distant the branches of her arms to heaven. He's putting up with a screaming guy. Nothing can cloud her thoughts, her seriousness, her peace. After all, so many clouds have passed over her forehead, so many birds have stopped here.

They went after you went. It's not your place, you don't feel sure, and that's why you scream at me for not being brave. I'm the 1 who grew out of the ground, and I'm the root in her heart. And you, wandering cloud, which cast a shadow of sorrow upon my golden forehead, are a rag of wind.

You request to be hurt. You're making your boring, heartless, mediocre song and you're going away. What can you do with a scream? I will stay in focus, to build my patience, to last the winds and raids, to calmly emergence high. You can't cover my sun, you won't delight me, you won't change the intent of my climbing.

There was a forest, you were gone – and you will be gone, there will be a forest...... Not a fairy tale.”

Stefan Cardinal Wyszynski, Primate of Poland, Prison Records

He was a Prophet?

"Primary records" is simply a valuable paper of the three-year isolation period of Primate. That's where he put the crow text. Records are a chronicle of everyday life, a spiritual notebook, letters, memoirs to the authorities and extended statements, which are a individual reflection of the Primate on the situation of the Church in Poland. It's a evidence of a man of integrity, a patriot fighting bravely for the rights of the Church and the Nation.

In the individual questionnaire of an operational case against cardinals. Wyszynski, code-named ‘Prophet’, is entered in the section ‘Primas’.

As in many another operational cases, the primary means utilized to collect surveillance information were a network of secret collaborators and operational techniques.

As a result, all word, conviction or motion by the cardinal was to be sent, in the form of a report, to the table of manager IV of the Ministry of the Interior.

These are dozens of volumes of this antful, criminal, and completely useless work for the communists. The paradox was that the Primate had nothing to hide. In the wake and in the dream he said the same thing to the communists, to the last days of his life.

The Cardinal died on 28 May 1981. Six months before martial law.

As the Primate of the Millennium, he has contributed to maintaining the independency of the Church threatened by the communist system, repeatedly defending human rights and the nation. His moral authority played an crucial function in mitigating tensions and social conflicts in Poland, including 1980-81.

He participated in a full of 4 conclaves: 1958, 1963 (he was then the sole typical of east Europe)
and in August and October 1978

He was the author of many publications, including Świętokrzyskie Kazania, autobiography of Prison Records. Buried in the cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Warsaw. Since 20 May 1989, he has been entitled to the title of Servant of God in connection with the beginning of the beatification process.

In 1994, he was posthumously decorated with the Order of the White Eagle. In 1999, the Academy of Catholic Theology in Warsaw changed the name of its educational institution to the University of Cradinal Stefan Wyszynski.

He was the personality and charismatic leader of the Catholic Church in Poland XX in the Integrity of Principles, having its roots in the Christian faith, stemmed from the interior conviction of service towards the universal Church

In addition, the flexibility of action, the ability to foretell or imagination allowed him to gain authority among the society and ruling then and the hierarchy of the Church including the pope.
