Help for Polish countryside in Ukraine

Dear tv viewers Go Under the Current, brothers and sisters from the fresh Covenant Church in Lublin, as well as from another churches in Poland and abroad, we ask you to support the inhabitants of the village of Kisielówka (historical name: Polackie) in the Mikołaj region, Ukraine.

Recently, together with our friends from the Anmar For People and HumAni Foundation, we have delivered another humanitarian aid organization to distant frontal locations in east and confederate Ukraine. Our last mission, apart from the assistance provided, was to analyse and measure the situation of the post-occupational residents, descendants of Polish exiles who were located in these areas during the tsaric times. We received signals that the situation of our countrymen surviving in villages Pravdino and Kisielówka is evil, but what we saw with our own eyes, especially in the village of Kisielówka, was frightening!

The demolition of this village reaches 100% of all residential buildings, as well as the full common and administrative infrastructure. In the village there is simply a school, a cultural house, a municipality building and a church (built in the 19th century by forces of the Polish community). Many of its inhabitants were killed during the fire of the village, and those who fled during the evacuations were shelled from helicopters. Everything that wasn't destroyed during the attacks was stolen and exported after the Russians entered.

Today, its inhabitants return to the ruined village, as they erstwhile did to destroyed Warsaw, despite the fact that surviving in specified a place and conditions is very hard for them, they want to live there and live there due to the fact that it is their land, their fatherhood. In a village surrounded by mines, without water and with electricity regulation, in addition to adult residents, most of whom are women, there are sixty children of different ages.

In agreement with our friends, with these foundations, the elders of the fresh Covenant Church in Lublin and the editorial board of IPPTV, we decided to take the effort to aid our fellow countrymen from the village of Kisielówka and take care of them and support them as far as possible. Needs are unlimited, but we would peculiarly like to focus on the aid and salaries of children, and people with disabilities and sick people. Our friends from Anmar For People from Warsaw organized a multiseason shelter which will service as a temporary school for children from Kisielówka. Since we are planning to send another transport of assistance, we are asking for a large deal of support.

We especially care about the following things:

  • children's clothing (0-17 years),
  • adult clothing, especially for women, (a immense request for clothes to be segregated and packages signed e.g. "children 3-5 years" or "female" etc.),
  • hygiene and cleaning products (powders, cleaning liquids, diapers for children and adults, moisturised wipes),
  • School supplies.

Please bring gifts to Lublin to the seat of KNP (Panieńszczyzna 44 A) or send a package (InPost) to:
