In today's world, no country can act alone, not even a power. Russia's military actions in Ukraine and the US in Iran are proving this. It is so essential to bring together smaller and medium-sized countries in larger blocks.
On 1 May 2004, Poland was admitted to the European Union. I will not talk about the advantages and disadvantages of EU membership. There is surely a request for any revisions of the treaties, as announced. Each global agreement limits the sovereignty of the State to a greater or lesser degree. At the same time, it shall have precedence over the Constitution after ratification (Article 91(2)). The PiS and both Federations are based on the judgement of the PiS Constitutional Court, which (against the Constitution!) declared the precedence of the Polish Constitution. These parties are practically seeking to leave the Union, negating most of its provisions, although they are officially talking about improving it.
Robert Walenciak He asks: “Will the Law and Justice Confederations get us out of the Union?” (Review, 22.06.2026) and responds that the polyxit threatens us as much as possible. As a consequence of negative propaganda of these parties, the number of Poles reluctant to the Union increases. In January 2026 it was 24.5%, while in 2019 only 6.7%. In January 2026, among the coalition voters there are practically no Polesit supporters, the PiS 43.6%, the Confederation 47.3%. The author believes that the increase in anti-EU sentiments is the consequence of the long-standing detestation of the Union by right-wing parties, who declare that the Union will be a superstate under German leadership, transforming Poland into a German land, that it is simply a bureaucratic pier, imposing not only method standards, but besides customs.
This is the Union's imagination of the editor of Paweł Lisicki's “To Things” as a centralised European state built on the ruins of national states. To implement specified a plan, an ideology must be created, 3 pillars of which are genderism, green revolution and immigrationism.
Genderism – (according to him) is simply a designation that there are no 2 sexes, and division into male and female roles is simply a cultural phenomenon. This designation threatens to break the continuity with the past generation. [The confusion of concepts- is simply a survey of the sociological activities of women and men and their common relations in different cultures.] Green Revolution “The utopia of zero-emission Europe is intended to lead to widespread impoverishment, except, of course, the Eurocrat group. [A complete simplification in CO2 emissions can never be achieved, but the improvement of RES is necessary.] Immigration – beginning borders, mixing races, cultures and nations in Europe. [It is not only Poland that closes itself against the excess of immigrants, even Sweden restricts the admission of fresh ones.]
The article by Robert Walenciak continues to mention examples of the systematic detestation of the Union by the Law and Justice and the Confederations and various publicists. I will add the constant attacks of the president on Germany, including an extraordinary idea, given at the rally, that German and French troops (?!) will enter Poland and deprive us of our independence. They all exploit the sleepy conservative social views due to the fact that there is no smoke without fire due to the fact that there are supporters of full integration with the Union in Poland!, 1 country with central power, without borders, with freedom to settle anywhere in the Union. It seems that this attitude prevails among the youngest voters, travelling around the world, unfamiliar with the culture and past of their homeland, recalling the national identity only on the occasion of the victories of a sports compatriot.
When Poland entered the European Union, it committed to the regulation of law, ratified the treaties on human rights, women and children, adopted as a standard in the Union and its existing members. They go (positively!) beyond the conventional "Christian values", which results in opposition of conservatives and the Church, but is rational and just.
It's different in business. After the Covid epidemic, however, it turned out that capital has a nationality and that EU solutions do not take into account the conditions of any members. The government began to talk about the repolonization of manufacture and the request to renegotiate any agreements, specified as the Green Deal. (Similarly, Krzysztof Bosak of the Confederacy wants to be in the Union to improve it, but reserves an exit in case of failure. Excessive EU bureaucracy seeks to regulate bottle closure and banana curvature. Tens of thousands of EU officials request to prove their high-paid existence. These are matters to be agreed between the governments of the associate States.
I would add to the Union's disadvantages its overly militantism – as shown by planet War II, as well as the clash between Russia-Ukraine and the USA-Iran, only coalitions of respective powers substance in armed conflicts. Right-wing parties see an enemy in the European Union. While accession to the Union required a prior referendum, a possible pollexit may take place by a simple majority vote in the Sejm. If the right hand had gained a majority in the Sejm and had voted for the pollexit, we would have had the destiny of Britain, which inactive feels the negative effects of the brexit. And it would turn out that anti-EU fears on Lacha were not an empty slogan
The immense (excess) expenditure on arms in the budget means a deficiency of resources for health, education, discipline and another areas. In the following years, we will gotta go deeper, the Federation will reduce social spending in the first place. Therefore, despite many imperfections and defects, it is deliberate, rational and essential to stay Poland in the European Union. A 4th of a century ago, I voted differently, but by the will of more than 80 percent of the population became as it had happened. The fact made has changed the situation completely, there is no turning back. As Prof. Andrzej Leder says, "If it is to last the sovereignty of European nations, and with it European democracy, it is in the form of a political federation". This does not change the fact that the European Union is simply a bureaucratic pier and needs to be repaired to take account of differences between countries – not federation, but confederation!
Membership will let you to make existing economical and trade ties, pay off a gigantic debt. Let the rulers keep the Republic from being harmed! Caveant consules ne quid detrimenti respublica capiat! – he preached an inscription in the hall of the Roman legislature meetings. Let all agreement, all treaty benefit Poland!
Polyxit would mean Poland as a NATO associate (unless?), but economically and culturally quarreled with neighbours. economical ties with Germany and France, which are present a major part of export income, would be weakened by ideological hatred of these countries. global trade would gotta weaken due to mandatory duties. The proposed deportation of most immigrants, while expanding the army to 500,000 soldiers, would consequence in massive request for abroad workers (immigrants) and serious production problems. Not to mention the difficulties in paying off the immense abroad debt (the US arms commitments alone are $200 billion = PLN 800 billion!).
It's not the pessimistic prophecy of a fairy, it's a reliable analysis of the causes and effects of certain actions. I am no longer talking about the anti-democratic authoritarian government that Mr president dreamed of, based on chauvinist pseudo-patriotism, contempt and hatred of others.
