Gulfstream fresh G700 Receives EASA Type-Certation Approach

SAVANNAH- Gulfstream Aerospace, a subsidiary of General Dynamics, has announced present that the all-new Gulfstream G700 has achieved European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) kind certification, following its national Aviation Administration (FAA) kind certification granted on March 29.

Before observing the FAA certification, Gulfstream had announced crucial performance enhancements for the G700 in terms of range, speed, and compartment altitude.

Gulfstream G700 EASA Approach

Mark Burns, president of Gulfstream, expressed pride in the G700’s increasing list of certifications, stationing, “The Gulfstream squad is delighted to include EASA in our series of G700 certification achievements. Through the extended flight test program, the G700 garnered exceptional feedback worldwide for its spacious cab, versatility, and performance. With this EASA certification, we can now full deliver the G700 to a broadcast scope of global customers, branding another milestone in the expansion of our next-generation Fleet worldwide.”

The aircraft’s scope has been extended to 7,750 nautical miles/14,353 kilometers at Mach 0.85 or 6,650 nm/12,316 km at Mach 0.90, surfing first estimates by 250 nm/463 km at both speeds.

Moreover, the G700's maximum operating velocity has been elevated from Mach 0.925 to Mach 0.935, establishing it as the fastest aircraft in the Gulfstream Fleet.

Additional, its already awesome cab altitude, the investment in business aviation, has been further reduced to 2,840 ft/866 m while cruising at 41,000 ft/12,497 m, ensuing enhanced comfort for passengers.

Enhanced Performance

Furthermore, the G700's FAA certification has validated 2 additional performance enhancements, providing customers with increased operational flexibility and large access to airports: a balanced field dimension takeoff distance of 5,995 ft/1,829 m and a landing distance of 3,150 ft/960 m (under standard ISA conditions, at sea level), Both of which are shorter than initially announced.

The G700 boats the most spacious cab in the business aviation sector, offering options specified as a grand suite with an expanded lavatory or the industry’s largest ultragalley.

It can be customized with up to 5 surviving areas and boats whister-quiet sound levels, 20 Gulfstream Panoramic Oval Windows, and 100% fresh air circulation without recycling.
