Half a million gold theft
For respective months now, Wielkopolska police have been conducting an intensive investigation into 2 large sums of money stolen from convoys carrying receipts from shops of the popular commercial network. The case was handled by officers from the Provincial Police office in Poznań. As they stress, the analysis of the material collected and the forensic evidence secured proved crucial.
"As a consequence of the analysis of the material collected in the case and the secured forensic evidence, suspects were selected. The territory Attorney's Office in Poznań has been informed about all the findings, which has been actively active in the case," we read in a police communication.
Thoughtful Crime Action
The way the group acted was highly precise. The perpetrators first carefully observed the selected location and then, at the time of arrival of the convoys under the market, blocked the radio signal key. This prevented the car from effectively closing. While the convoy was at the store picking up the money, the suspects opened the van door, took cash from the safe, and ran distant with a fake licence plate. The car was abandoned further distant and then moved to another vehicle.
