Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki met in the first debate before the second circular of the presidential election. The discussion was full of emotion, and candidate KO did not hesitate to remind Nawrock of his words from an earlier conversation with Sławomir Mentzen.

On Friday evening, a long-awaited debate took place between Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki, who will face the second circular of the presidential election on 1 June. The event was broadcast by TVP, TVN and Polsat, and the moderator was Jacek Prusinowski from “Super Express”.
The discussion was divided into six thematic blocks: health, global policy, economy, social policy, safety and planet view. The candidates had the chance to ask each another questions, which led to respective sharp exchanges of opinions.

One of the most expressive moments of the debate was Rafał Trzaskowski's consequence to Nawrocki's question about the intellectual wellness of children and young people. PiS candidate accused the president of Warsaw of waiting up to 3 years in the capital for a visit to a kid psychiatrist.
– How do you take care of the wellness of Poles erstwhile you can't take care of wellness in Warsaw? Nawrocki asked.
Trzaskowski did not stay in debt:
– Mr. Charles, first of all, I congratulate you on your honesty in your debate with Mentzen. due to the fact that you admitted there that for everything bad in Poland for the last 8 years, PiS is responsible. Mr. Karol Nawrocki admitted that besides for the Green Deal, and for the problems of migration, and for wellness precisely, and for taxes is the work of the Law and Justice. Congratulations on your honesty. – the KO candidate replied.
He thus referred to Nawrocki's Thursday conversation with Sławomir Mentzen, during which the president of the IPN signed an eight-point declaration, including a commitment not to rise taxes.
What's next? Second circular is June 1st
The polls show that the fight will be very even. In the first round, Trzaskowski won 31.36% of the votes and Nawrocki – 29.54%. The second circular will be held next Saturday, and the last days of the run are going to be full of excitement.
