Sunday, according to local time in Los Angeles, the 67th Grammy Awards ceremony, considered musical Oscars, was held. This unique event brought together artists, fans and representatives of the music manufacture from around the world.
The host of this year's gala was comedian Trevor Noah, who started the ceremony with words of gratitude and hope. He expressed his gratitude to firefighters who are fighting fires in California, and calls on viewers to donate to initiatives supporting residents of Los Angeles affected by the element. His speech was of peculiar importance, highlighting solidarity and support for the communities that had to face hard times.
During the 67th Grammy edition, statues were presented in over 90 categories. 1 of the most crucial distinctions was the award for “The Best fresh Artist” which went to American vocalist and songwriter Chappell Roan. The 26-year-old artist performed with a moving confession, thanking her fans and at the same time announcing a fight for better conditions for young talent.
Kendrick Lamar won the award in the prestigious category “Record of the Year” for the album “Not Like U”. During his speech, Lamar dedicated a statue to the city of Los Angeles. This is my vicinity that's been overwhelming since I was a small puppy. I can't thank adequate the places I've been since advanced school, and most of all the people and families from Palisades and Altadena," said 37-year-old rapper.
The most crucial distinction, the alleged large Award, i.e. the award for the best album of the year, was won by Beyonce for her album "Cowboy Carter". respective twelve firefighters fighting fires in California were asked to present the statue. In her emotional speech, Beyonce expressed her gratitude to firefighters and stressed how she felt fulfilled and honored with this distinction. During her career, the artist won a full of 99 Grammy nominations.

It is worth noting that the Grammy ceremony is not only an chance to present awards, but besides to support artists and communities affected by hard events. That is why this year's edition was peculiarly important, given the hard situation in California, where fires were taking place.
