In consequence to the increasing public interest in matters of individual and public security, The Government safety Centre (RCB) announces the launch of a peculiar educational portal. Its goal is to prepare Poles to deal with crisis situations, including possible attacks from the air, chemical, biological, radiation, atomic and explosive threats.
Educational portal for Citizens
The project, planned for Friday, is to be a platform on which Poles will find detailed information and advice on how to deal with various threats. Piotr Błaszczyk, RCB spokesperson, emphasises that safety education is simply a key component in building public resilience and ensuring the safety of citizens.
Resources for Children and Youth
The portal besides does not forget the youngest. Specially adapted educational materials will be available to students in grades 4-8 of primary schools. Infographics, animations, games and ready-to-use lesson scenarios for teachers are intended to facilitate the uptake of safety knowledge. All of this aims to rise public awareness and prepare the young generation to deal with crisis situations.

The resources of the portal were developed in cooperation with experts from various fields, including the State Atomics Agency and the interior safety Agency. This gives users assurance in the reliability and reliability of the content. The project, financed by the Norwegian Fund, enabled the creation of a portal with full costs of PLN 7.2 million.
Continuation of RCB activities
The introduction of an education portal is another step of the RCB in efforts to rise public awareness and preparedness to deal with crisis situations. callback that 2 years ago, RCB published a manual “Be Ready. A guide to crisis and war", which included applicable guidance on endurance in hard situations. The fresh portal is simply a continuation of these activities, with a view to further building society's resilience to various threats.
