The subject of abortion, especially eugenic, has become a regular “cotlet” of political elites in our country in order to distract them from issues that would be uncomfortable for them to discuss publicly. On the 1 hand, it can so be considered insignificant, which we should respect both sides (pro-lifeand pro-choice) so that they do not undergo extraordinary exaltation. On the another hand, it can be made constructive for the interest of the Polish State itself. This may seem amazing to the reader, but the discussion about people with various dysfunctions should be conducted in a different direction. I have come to conclusions that could service as a possible proposal to bring our citizens with disabilities back into society.
No stigmatisation
Although the case of Poland shows many affirmative sides of assistance for people with disabilities, for example in terms of facilitating movement in various public places. Many of these facilities are not found in neighbouring countries, or are severely restricted. Nevertheless, the specified construction of an elevator at a railway station or moving tapes does not solve problems, and above all unmet intellectual needs of specified people. I would point out from the outset that this article does not aim to stigmatize or item the "others" of people with dysfunction. The intent of this text is to show the full scope of possibilities for self-fulfillment and exploitation of the possible of people with dysfunction, both physical and mental. They deserve a decent life, spent with a sense of security, but besides being truly needed by another people.
Israeli Model
The exemplification of the benefits of people with disabilities is... Israel. Abortion in this country is included in state law as feasible in so many cases, that this country can be regarded as highly liberally approaching annihilation, both healthy and sick children. Abortion is possible in the following cases: the age of a female is little than 18 years old (the age in which 1 can marry), the female is not married or the pregnancy is not from marriage, she is 40 years old, the pregnancy is the consequence of a forbidden act (e.g. rape, incest), the fetus may have irreversible physical defects, the continuation of pregnancy may endanger the life of a female or origin her physical or intellectual suffering. The decision to spend a pregnancy is made by a three-member medical committee. Of course, in this case, a spiritual approach, i.e. the conscience of each associate of specified a commission, has not been very important, so there have been cases erstwhile a female inadvertently gave birth to a kid under the heart met with a refusal, clearly for spiritual reasons, assessing the situation of doctors. However, if we look at the above mentioned situations where abortion is allowed in Israel, we will find that abortion law in this country is more liberal than that in Poland.
Respect and a sense of being needed
However, without going into the ethical and moral aspects of the subject, I would like to show that it is not essential to start with legal tightening of the rules governed by the abortion Act, but with the aim of providing people with greater emotional or intellectual care, empathy but, above all, the possible of spending a successful and dignified life besides in the event of the death of guardians or parents. Then a female who learns that a disabled kid will be born may not consider a developing being in it to be a future burden or a “indecent”. This is the case in Israel itself. This country, accustomed to comparatively low and so natural growth, has developed an approach which assumes that the possible of all citizen should be exploited to a degree maximised to the welfare of the Israeli state. It seems to me that this kind of approach is highly relevant, as it refers to people who have feelings and lives. However, the practicality of the solution gives them the chance even if not self-fulfillment within their own dreams or ideas, it gives them meaning and, in an external sense, respect for the environment, society and yet towards themselves.
For example, people with motor dysfunctions, both natural and acquired, e.g. as a consequence of illness and lateral atrophy, service in the Israeli army as soldiers controlling drones or another distant vehicles. This gives them, in fact, not only the uniform and chance to advance within the military, but above all a sense of free movement in space. The distant device then becomes a kind of avatar, through which they scope places that they would not usually have access. In addition, they have an highly advanced degree of ambition and morale, dedication to the task, as they actually defend their colleagues from jobs or tasks that would be risky to their wellness and life. In addition, as members of a battalion, for example, they can treat themselves in a completely honest manner as full-fledged and even crucial soldiers. From the point of view of state defence, specified a solution besides brings a number of advantages, for example, due to the fact that cities usage non-difficult tanks, utilizing innovative weapons, limiting human losses on their own side to a minimum. specified devices, whether flying or walking robots (e.g. against mine), can be modified or upgraded according to the army required.
Not worse than others
People with intellectual dysfunction, specified as people with Down syndrome, usually work as personnel in military cuisine. They shall receive a average uniform to guarantee that they themselves are part of the soldier’s ‘brother’. They can appear in public spaces, which makes citizens treat them despite illness with respect and respect. Poland utilized to affect people with Down's syndrome, e.g. at the Róża Luxemburg electrical Lamp Production Plant in Warsaw. This was due to the fact that people with Down syndrome have a unique ability to repeat activities (sometimes requiring precision) to a degree much higher than those who are bored with specified work full functional. I mention this example due to the fact that this repetition can work perfectly in the manufacture of even components essential for the construction of modern armored vehicles, weapons or drones. While the issue of mechanising production in various Polish factories can be raised here, the engagement of "human factor" in this kind of work is inactive necessary.
It should be stressed again that people with intellectual dysfunction should be equipped with appropriate clothing not only for reasons of work safety, but besides so that they can feel part of the team. For example, in Israel, even a different material is made of a uniform for individuals with autism. This is due to the fact that specified people can get distracted very rapidly due to trivial factors specified as little pleasant clothing textures for us. However, this is indeed a tiny "victim" towards specified people in the light of their unique abilities. Of course, these cases require appropriate training and approach of trainers to take account of their characteristics, but do not training besides require workers who are considered to be alleged "normalised"? Do they not sometimes undergo profound intellectual changes as a consequence of, for example, traumatic experiences in private life?
Reintegration as a substitute for social policy
In summary, you can put the subject of people with disabilities in the context of beating what we consider to be flaws into advantages. The Israeli communities, due to their closed character (especially the Hasidic groups), are forced to make inbred farming, so specified birth defects and various diseases are comparatively more common than in Poland. This does not change the fact that the skills of disabled Poles for the sake of the Polish state and according to his state rations should be utilized by all means. Personally, I believe that the possible of people with dysfunction is not being exploited, and that their problems are frequently dealt with with by mediocre money subsidies from funds allocated to the alleged social policy of the state. The abuse is the dignity of these people, their prospects for the future are very limited, and their ambitions are not fulfilled.
Of course, I met people in my life who are highly talented and despite the large effort they have made in their regular activities, their wisdom, patriotism and public discourse. I mention to the author of the blog and fanpage on Facebook “The Paradigm of Truth”. However, he himself has made a kind of reintegration into society, as he shows first and foremost peculiar talents towards social sciences. However, many of our citizens with intellectual disabilities in the event of the death of guardians, who show a large deal of empathy and patience to give them a chance to live, are actually left to themselves. They become apathetic individuals addicted to the alleged "social". I want that the Polish state would activate them, give them a decent retirement after working for years, and society treated them as people who belong to them in fact, alternatively than surviving somewhere on the margins of our reality. In this way, too, many women can be dissuaded from receiving a very sad news of their child’s disability from deciding to kill him. After all, we should not oppress society with bans and orders, but change their bottom-up approach to all issues and do everything in our power to take examples from affirmative solutions (sometimes others) in order to increase the demographic growth of Poles.
