A dangerous incidental in Głogów
On 18 January evening, a dangerous event occurred in Głogów center, which could have ended tragically. Daniel Z., a 32-year-old resident of the city, tried to ram his car for passersby on the sidewalk. The recording of the incidental rapidly went to the media, causing large outrage among the inhabitants.
The prosecution immediately acted, and in late January issued a BOLO for the man. Daniel Z. was accused of direct danger of disaster in land, water or air traffic. For this act he threatens from 6 months to 8 years in prison.
Two months of research
Although the substance was widely commented on from the beginning, Daniel Z.'s detention took only 2 months. any commentators pointed out slow police action, especially in the first fewer hours after the release of the video. This hold made it much harder to search later.
On Tuesday evening, the Lower Silesian police reported on the X portal that Daniel Z. was yet detained. "Tomorrow (Wednesday, 19 March – ed.) the process with his participation is planned," the Communication states.

Daniel Z.'s arrest echoed not only among the inhabitants of Głogów, but besides among the authorities. The success of this case was rejected by himself Head of the Ministry of abroad Affairs, Tomasz Siemoniak. On portal X, he wrote: “We are pursuing suspects of crimes to the full. The actions of the detainee present were dangerous to the life and wellness of many Głogów residents. Now it is time for judgment!’
