The GIS calls for:

  • Non-consumption withdrawn batches of teas.
  • Verification the products held for lot numbers and minimum durability dates.
  • Returns purchased products to or from the place of acquisition disposal.

Producer activities and supervision

Producers covered by the GIS decision have already taken action to retreat dangerous products from the market. Authorities of the State Sanitary Inspection monitor the process of removing these teas from the marketplace to guarantee consumer safety.

How to avoid akin threats in the future?

  • Buy Products from renowned manufacturers and proven sales outlets.
  • Regularly check GIS communications on withdrawn products.
  • Pay Attention on the expiry dates and lot numbers of the products purchased.
  • Consult with your doctor or pharmacist before starting to consume fresh dietary supplements or herbal teas.

Summary

The consumption of withdrawn batches of herbal teas may pose a serious wellness risk, especially for children. The GIS calls for caution and compliance with the recommendations on withdrawn products. Regular monitoring of GIS messages and an informed approach to the selection of food products and dietary supplements are essential to maintaining wellness and safety.
