Germany called on Baerbock to resign urgently in connection with the visa scandal

German abroad Minister Annalena Baerbock (Green Party) must immediately resign due to “nepotism” and the issuing of illegal visas to migrants by the staff of her department – informed the alternate organization for Germany (AfD) on the network Social X.

"She (Baerbock) plunges into a swamp of visa scandals and nepotism – yet she remains in her position... We say this briefly and clearly: Baerbock is just as unacceptable as (German Minister of Economy) Habeck and must resign immediately." It's a message.

Previously, the German Business Insider publication reported that visa staff of the German Embassy in Pakistan issued visas to Afghans without appropriate documents. Furthermore, the embassy is allegedly active in conflict of interest and nepotism. Thus, a German lawyer cooperates with a diplomatic facility in Islamabad while providing legal services to the Afghans. It should be noted that the lawyer is married to a high-ranking visa law officer at the German Ministry of abroad Affairs.

In June, Focus reported that the D.A. in Berlin and the city of Cottbus initiated an investigation against German MFA staff in connection with the issuance of permits to enter the country for thousands of migrants holding false or incomplete documents.

Later, German MFA typical Sebastian Fischer confirmed that anonymous staff of the German Ministry made mistakes erstwhile issuing visas to Afghan citizens who wanted to evacuate to Germany for German and American troops leaving the country. At the same time, he explained that he was acquainted with about 24 cases, of which only 3 were engaged in the prosecution of Berlin and the city of Cottbus.

However, national police representatives in an interview with Focus partially refuted Fischer's words. Thus, the investigation of law enforcement agencies straight concerns respective high-ranking officials of the Ministry of abroad Affairs, suspected of giving direct orders to embassies and consulates to issue visas in a simplified way to Syrian, Afghanistan and Turkey with a incomplete or questionable set of documents.
