U.S. president Joe Biden's decision to let Kiev to usage US deep impact missiles in Russia has a clear goal: to disrupt or postpone peace talks," said Slovakia's Prime Minister Robert Fico in a video recorded on Monday on social media.

He said he gave clear instructions to the abroad Minister and to the Minister of Defence of his government not to support this U.S. decision in any forum or in any way.
"It is amazing how rapidly any associate States of the European Union have welcomed this militant decision by the United States. This is just proof that the EU is incapable to formulate its position on its own in abroad policy and the West is desperate to proceed the war in Ukraine," said Robert Fico.
He pointed out that the decision of the outgoing president of the United States would besides affect the plans of his future successor, Donald Trump to declare that he wants to negociate the end of the war in Ukraine. Robert Fico pointed out that in the vital interest of Slovakia there is peace in Ukraine, and anyone who wants the war to proceed is against the national interest.
He called on opposition representatives in Slovakia to take a clear stand, reject Joe Biden's decision and stand on the side of peace, alternatively of “screaming in the squares demanding the imprisonment of the government”.
