Festung Deutschland?

Following the spectacular successes of the alternate for Germany (AfD) in the elections in Saxony and Thuringia and the expected good consequence in the Brandenburg elections, the government of Olaf Scholza decided to partially reconstruct border control, which is to halt illegal immigration.

In the opinion of most commentators, this is simply a typical propaganda action that will not improve the situation. The government in Berlin and the ruling coalition are well aware that the main reason for the increase in support for AfD is the irritation of German citizens who are tired of the influx of immigrants from all over the world. Germany, due to its highly liberal legislation, is simply a dream destination for millions of visitors.

The results of the public opinion poll are clear. 73% of Germans are in favour of introducing border controls and 71% are in favour of sending migrants already at the border. Only 1 in 5 respondents opposed controls and closures. 82 percent of Germans think there should be more deportation, and only 11 percent are against it. As can be easy stated, the current actions of the Scholz government will be accepted in Germany with approval. The problem is, it's not much of a middle. Germany announced its decisions without consulting its neighbours. The narrowly understood national interest took precedence over ideological principles in force in the European Union. It is so no wonder that this decision was met with criticism of neighbouring countries, including Poland and Austria, as well as Greece. Donald Tusk estimated that this is simply a de facto suspension of the Schengen area's large-scale operation and announced an urgent consultation on this issue in a European forum. The Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Micotakis, expressed his opinion that unilateral action cannot respond to migration challenges.

On the 1 hand, Berlin's decision is simply a affirmative signal, as it shows that, under the force of the public, even so indoctrinated political elites, specified as in Germany, are forced to renationalise their policies. On the another hand, it is certain that the detention of uncontrolled immigration requires a joint decision by all EU countries, and that the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who has been calling for extremist action for years, was right in this regard. Will they be ready in Brussels to decision distant from the dogmas considered to be the "fundament" of perfect integration? Can EU governments agree that it is essential to destruct this immediately insane social assistance strategy for immigrants, including illegal ones, which is simply a giant magnet for the attracters and wisemen from Africa and half of Asia? Until there is simply a clear message to the planet that in EU countries, especially Germany, no 1 will get even 1 euro for being there, nothing will change.
