EV charging points without community approval? This is what the Tusk government is working on, implementing the ideology of Euro-Colochosis

Donald Tusk's government is working on a major legal change that can importantly simplify the process of installing electrical car charging points in multi-family buildings. According to the draft amendment of the Electromobility Act, electrical car owners will be able to install chargers even without the consent of the residential community, provided certain method criteria are met.

The aim is to remove administrative barriers

Currently, investment in a multi-family building's own charging point involves obtaining the consent of a residential community or cooperative. In practice, this frequently means that the case is stuck for long months – from the minute of the request to the decision of the board. The government task envisages the elimination of specified delays through the introduction of “discipline” mechanisms for property management.

What will the fresh business look like?

According to the draft amendment:

  • The owner of an flat that wants to install a charging point, submits request to the board of directors of the Community or cooperative.
  • The Management Board has 14 days on behalf of the method expert, the acceptability of the charger installation.
  • After receiving it, it has another 7 daysto transmit the documentation to the owner.
  • If the time limit is not met, the applicant may commission the expert to submit it to the Management Board.

If the method feasibility of the investment is confirmed and there are no grounds for refusal (e.g. safety risk), the owner will be able to install the charger even without the formal consent of the communityif the decision is not taken within the time limit or has been unduly issued.

Why is this change important?

According to the Ministry of Climate and Environment data, the number of electrical cars in Poland is increasing dynamically – the state of 2024 indicates an increase of over 300% in 3 years. At the same time, charging infrastructure, especially private ones, is developing unevenly, and block residents frequently face serious barriers at the phase of installing loaders.

The aim of the amendment is to simplify these procedures and make a more favourable climate for the improvement of electromobility in cities.

What will the fresh bill change?

The draft amendment to the Electromobility Act is simply a breakthrough step towards greater availability of charging points in Poland. The main advantages for electrical car owners are:

  • Possibility to install the charger without the consent of the housing communityif it does not fall within the time limit or has been rejected unduly.
  • Simplify procedures and reduce bureaucratic delays.
  • Increase the number of private charging points in cities.
  • Encouragement to make electromobility in a sustainable and safe manner.

Summary: Electromobility and safety – does the promotion of electrical cars in urban conditions entail invaluable risks?

As a consequence of the improvement of electromobility and the increase in the number of electrical cars on Polish roads, there are more and more criticisms about the safety of these vehicles – especially if they request lithium-ion batteries. Unfortunately, the current technology does not offer effective methods of their gases. Pouring or foaming frequently causes effects, which can origin side effects.

The utmost problem is parking electrical cars in underground parkingwhich are typical of many large buildings. In the event of a battery explosion, the fire department is not possible to access the site immediately, and the only method – a vehicle in a container that cuts off the supply – is virtually impossible to implement in a closed space.

Such a state of things that are real, accessible not only to property, but above all to the lives and inhabitants of residential communities. The fire of 1 car can be carried out in the aftermath – the start may happen on another cars, or there may be a disaster.

In light of the report, promoting the installation of EV charging points in blocks, despite the intention to launch Donald Tusk, may be A dangerous ideologywhich ignores the current state of the art and the actual threat. The introduction of a fresh regulatory device without the usage of a safety device may lead to additional elements, where problems arise.

This too, alternatively of a forceful electromobility “by coercion”, is essential Speech on the facts of energy policy, physiology of the general aspects of the occurrence and precedence safety.

Existing experience from around the planet that electromobility in the current state of technology, the effects of which may be irreversible, should be a informing about the implementation of the mad plans of the von der Leyen Nazi.

For this reason, parking of electrical cars in underground car parks and connection of charging points in closed spaces specified as underground car parks should be bane, and the government – alternatively of ideological goals of "green governance" – should start to think realistically and search safe solutions for society.
