Green utopians from the European Union imposed a fresh law. According to him, car manufacturers are 3 years old to settle penalties for excess CO2 emissions. The standards are so advanced that they are exceeded by most of the recently manufactured vehicles. For drivers, this means a sharp increase in the price of diesel cars in the dealerships.
Eurocommunists are punishing you for buying diesel cars. The EC has published a 29-page paper proposing penalties for car manufacturers. As of 1 January, fresh thresholds for CO2 emissions from passenger cars entered into force. This is the effect of Clear Air For Europe (CAFE) regulations, which presume a gradual simplification in the average CO2 emissions for fresh vehicles in the EU, until a complete ban on the registration of fresh combustion vehicles in 2035.
The average CO2 emissions for passenger cars were reduced from 95 to 93.6 grams of CO2/km. Another simplification in the threshold is expected in 2030. Then the average emissions for the full scope of a given maker are 50 grams of CO2/km. For manufacturers, the biggest challenge is over-emission penalties. Under EU law, all over-normative gram issued by each of the cars sold is subject to a punishment of EUR 95.
According to data from the German national Transport Authority, in February this year the average emissions for fresh cars were 109.7 g/km. This means that after the calculation, the punishment for each fresh car sold in Germany amounted to EUR 1 529,5 or PLN 6380. Of course, this amount was included by the manufacturers in the acquisition price of the vehicle.
For Volkswagen alone, it is estimated that the costs of penalties in 2025 will cost up to EUR 1.5 billion. In the last 4th of last year, the head of the European Association of Vehicle Manufacturers Luca de Meo warned that in the scale of all manufacturers, in 2025 penalties could scope up to EUR 15 billion.
Theoretically, manufacturers can proceed to sale combustion cars, but, in order to avoid penalties, their larger sales this year will should be compensated for larger sales of electrical cars. However, this is unrealistic due to the fact that the request for these vehicles is completely artificially inflated and gradually decreasing. The universality of these cars is nothing but a utopia.
As a consequence of the actions of green communists from Brussels, all affordable combustion cars will rapidly vanish from the European market. Only premium brands which, as we remember, are excluded from the combustion limits will stay available.
OUR COMMENTS: Brussels utopiates and divers want to drive Europe to be demotored, like North Korea. In this country, transport takes place completely unemissionably – on foot, on a bicycle, and in a luxurious version – with the aid of a rickshaw.
