An informal gathering of EU leaders will start in the Hungarian capital on Friday, the main subject of which will be EU competitiveness. During the preceding informal dinner on Thursday, the leaders discussed the results of the American elections, the situation in Georgia and Israeli government prohibiting UNRWA and the situation in Ukraine.
EU leaders have already been in Budapest since Thursday, where they took part in the European Political Community summit together with the leaders of 20 non-EU countries.
