Many households in Poland utilized an energy voucher in 2024 to aid alleviate the effects of advanced current prices. But does this show come back in 2025? Will it be possible to submit proposals? This article examines the facts and answers to these questions.

Unfortunately, in 2025 it is not possible to apply for an energy voucher. Let us remind that in 2024 applications could be submitted from 1 August to 30 September 2024. After that date, the applications were not considered. Applications were examined within 60 days of the date of submission. Payments began in October 2024 and continued until the end of the year and early 2025, depending on the deadline for submitting the application.

The conclusions of the above information are as follows: the energy coupon does not return in 2025, but alternatively the government maintained the freezing of electricity prices to mitigate the effects of inflation and advanced electricity prices. Households in Poland should prepare for a power fee that will appear in the accounts in 2025. However, thanks to government decisions, the cost of energy will stay limited.
