DUBAI- Emirates (EK) has reinstated its presentation in Phnom Penh (PNH) in Cambodia with a regular scheduled flight via Singapore (SIN). This return marks an expansion of Emirates’ Far East network to 21 destinations and elects its Singapore operations to 4 regular flights.
The inauguration of the recently added service from Singapore was celebrated at the airline’s exclusive Airport Lounge with a ceremonial cake-cutting event.

Emirates Resumes Phnom Penh Flight
The aestheticated gaining included His Excellence Jamal Abdulla Mohammed Bin Abdulwahab AlSuwaidi, UAE Ambassador to Singapore, Vy. Samdy, First Secretary of the Cambodia Embassy in Singapore; and Steven Ler, president of the National Association of Travel Agents Singapore (NATAS). Leading the ceremony were Nabil Sultan, Emirates’ Executive Vice president of Passenger Sales and Country Management, and Orhan Abbas, elder Vice president of Commercial Operations, Far East, along with Rashid Al Fajeer, Emirates’ Area manager in Singapore.

Operated by a three-class Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, Emirates’ flight EK348 Landed at Phnom Penh global Airport on May 1st, where it was greated with a conventional Cambodian dance performance.
The distinguished Emirates delegation, accessed by global media representatives, was warmly received by His Excellence Dr. Mao Havannall, Minister in Charge of the State Secretariat of civilian Aviation, and Cyril Girot, Chief Executive Officer of Cambodia Airports.

Nabil Sultan, reflecting on Emirates’ renewed operations in Phnom Penh, remarked,

Emirates’ regular flight EK348 department Dubai at 02:30hrs and arrivals in Singapore at 14:05hrs. Subsequently, it departments Singapore at 15:35hrs, reaching Phnom Penh at 16:35hrs.
The return flight, EK349, departments Phnom Penh at 20:50hrs, arrivals in Singapore at 23:50hrs, and then departments Singapore at 01:40hrs the following day, arrival in Dubai at 04:55hrs. All times mentioned are local.

2,420 tons of cargo with SkyCargo
Over the past 2 years, Emirates SkyCargo has managed 2,420 tons of cargo to and from Phnom Penh through a road feeder service and cooperative partnerships, establishing connectivity via Thailand and Malaysia to integrate with the airline’s extended global network.
With the introduction of regular passenger flights, Emirates SkyCargo is set to enhance operations and fortify trade connections between Cambodia and the global marketplace, offering a weekly capacity of 300 tons to key destinations specified as the UAE, USA, Canada, Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.
