DUBAI— UAE’s flag carrier Emirates (EK) will upgrade its A380 services to New York (JFK) with a full four-class configuration, including the Premium Economy cabin.
From December 1, flights EK201/202 on the Dubai (DXB) – New York (JFK) route will feature Premium Economy, while services via Milan (MXP) on EK205/206 will offer the cabin from November 10. These enhancements follow the existing Premium Economy operations on EK203/204, giving travelers more choice on one of Emirates’ busiest transatlantic corridors.

Emirates has steadily grown its Premium Economy footprint since launching the cabin in 2021. With the addition of EK201/202 and EK205/206, customers traveling between Dubai and the United States or Italy will have multiple daily opportunities to book Premium Economy seats.
The expansion also ensures consistency across the airline’s New York services, where both direct and one-stop flights will feature the upgraded product.
On the Milan–Dubai route, Emirates will operate two daily flights offering Premium Economy, including EK091/092. This gives passengers traveling between Italy and the UAE greater flexibility, while also connecting onwards to North America with a more comfortable long-haul experience.

The A380 aircraft operating on these routes will feature Emirates’ four-class layout: First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy. The Premium Economy cabin is located at the front of the main deck with 56 seats arranged in a 2-4-2 configuration.
Each seat offers generous pitch and width, in-seat charging points, and a side cocktail table, designed to strike a balance between work and relaxation.
Passengers can also expect upgraded amenities, curated dining options, and exclusive beverages, including the Chandon Vintage Brut 2016, served only in Emirates Premium Economy.

These additions form part of Emirates’ wider rollout of Premium Economy across its long-haul network. By March 2026, the cabin will be available on 68 destinations across its fleet of Airbus A380s, Boeing 777s, and Airbus A350s.
