Shocking data: 800 PLN per period for electricity? It's not extravagance!
According to the study Energy Regulatory Authority (URE), in 2023, the average energy cost for a single-family home is PLN 478 per month. But it's just a medium. In practice:
- Families heating the home with electricity (about 1.2 million farms) pay 720-1200 zł/month
- Residents of old blocks with electrical furnaces – accounts scope 650 zł at 3000 kWh/year
- Warsaw vs. village: In the capital the rent for the studio is 1800 zł, while electricity at home 120 m2 on Mazovia – 1900 zł
