In the window of life in Sosnowiec, individual left a ten-day boy. The baby went to the infirmary for research, said the Carmelite Sisters of Baby Jesus, who took care of the place in cooperation with Caritas of Sosnowieckie Diocese. It's the sixth kid left here.
As reported on the website of the Assembly of the Carmelite Sisters of Baby Jesus, on August 25 at 18 p.m. in the P.m. window of life the alarm went off. The escort sister immediately went to the scene. "The baby was calm and well-maintained. Called an ambulance brought the kid to the infirmary for regular tests. The legal actions related to care and future adoption will then begin," the nuns described.
Sosnowiecki window of life is located at parent Teresa Kierocińska Street in the Piastów Settlement. It was opened in 2009. The first baby was left there on 19 March 2018. 5 boys and a girl have been saved since. The window is open 24/7, easy accessible and appropriately marked. An alarm is triggered at the minute of opening.
"We find with emotion that the window of life at which we constantly watch is fulfilling our mission – it protects the smallest, serves to build a civilization of life and love, and gives children a chance for a safe future," the Carmelites wrote.
"It is peculiarly crucial that the event took place on the eve of Our woman of Czestochowa's celebration, just before the beginning of the peregrination of a copy of Jasna Góra Image after the Sosnowiec Diocese. We believe that there are no cases here – God himself watches over all fresh life," they added, asking for prayer for children left in the windows of life and for their parents, who frequently make specified a decision under dramatic circumstances.
