They won! They have overcome the power of spirit, the power of weapons, the power of steadfastness, wisdom, intelligence, absolute determination. This is why on August 15 is the Holy Polish Army, a celebration of the triumph of the Polish weapon, a triumph of the Polish nation, a Polish spirit. This ethos our soldiers carry within themselves until today. They are in a consecutive line heirs to those heroes who defeated the Soviets who chased them east," said president Andrzej Duda.

Today – in memory of the winning Warsaw conflict in 1920 – we celebrate the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland. The triumph of the Polish army led by Marshal Józef Piłsudski was decisive for the destiny of the Polish–bolshevik war – it decided to preserve the country's independency and protected Western Europe from the communist revolution.
"It was a large victory, due to the extraordinary heroism and devotion of the Polish soldier; thanks to the wisdom and experience of the commanders," said president Andrzej Duda during the parade, which culminated in the celebration of the Polish Army.
Today is an extraordinary day on which 2 Christmases coincide: the presumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Polish Army, the anniversary of the conflict of Warsaw. They both specify us, we both owe the existence of our country. They constitute Polishness. They make our place in Europe and in the world.
On 15 August, on the grounds of the parish cemetery, at 3 p.m., councillors and members of the patriotic community met to celebrate the soldiers at our cemetery. These are legionaries who fought and stopped the Bolshevik revolution heading for the heart of Europe. We started singing the national anthem. Vice-President of the RM, erstwhile Vice-Vice-Vice-Voivode of Lower Silesian Jarosław Kresa, recalled the silhouettes of legionaries: Emil Naganowski (Johanna), Stanisław Jan Wójciak and Colonel Valerian Tevzadze. After that, there was inflammation, the laying of the bundles, the prayer for the dead and the Homeland.
In conclusion, Mr Antoni Ludwa quoted the words of Cardinal Wyszyński: If they come to destruct this nation, they will begin with the Church due to the fact that the Church is the strength of this nation. - how timely these words of the Primate of the Millennium of Blessed Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski are today. “Enemies know what serves the nation and what harms it. And if they want to harm him, they destruct what helps him. Therefore, the invaders always destroyed the Church and wanted to cover up the traces of Christian morality in the life of the Nation. That's why they tried to make the Nation dirty and drunk. These are lessons from a fresh past. May we not shortly forget them, for they may be of usage to us! Our nation’s enemies are known by their dealings with God and Christian morality. They can justice the meaning of this morality for us. They know that it is the strength and power of the Nation, that it best serves his existence, wholeness and unity. That is why they destruct his religion and Christian morality in order to destruct the Nation.”
It is with large regret that on this most crucial day for Poland our city was not decorated with flags, there were no celebrations, picnics and concerts. On the information pages of the UM, the municipality and the region there is no memory of the celebration of the Polish Army. Only a short note can be found on the City Museum website. I'm not a fan of conspiracy theories, but you might have the impression that there's a 2.0 reset and a Catholic sawing. I hope I am wrong, but individual has made specified a terrible decision, in my opinion. Since the conflict of Warsaw, 104 years have passed and until now we have no commemoration of this 18th decisive conflict in planet history. Why? Think and answer yourself!
