Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated, answering a question from 1 of the journalists, that he is not at all disappointed "a proposal and a good motion from the Chancellor of Germany and the German Government, due to the fact that there are no gestures that would satisfy Poles and the sum of money that would balance what happened during planet War II."

Regardless of the commemoration, let us remember that we suffered gigantic losses due to the unprovoked German aggression in 1939 and throughout the period of planet War II, erstwhile Poland was occupied by Germany," he said.
Andrzej Duda stated that Poland never gave up reparation.
I do not share the view that at any time, any Polish authorities effectively waived their rights and claims to compensate us for the harm that became the participation of Poles, Polish people and our country during the Second planet War. If the Prime Minister agrees with the German position that there has been any resignation, I will say this: I will not agree – he continued.
The Prime Minister besides commented on Deputy Marshal Krzysztof Bosak, writing that the Prime Minister neglected Polish public interest.
We will not let Germany to “close” the issue of compensation to Poles for the harm caused by any symbolic amount or gesture. The Prime Minister should express expectations of Poland and Poles, not publically bid down the demands of the Polish side. And “Polish-German home” is now a German-only project. Polish postulate is simply a monument of Poles murdered and harmed by Germans during planet War II, which should stand in Berlin – he wrote on portal X.
