Donald Trump tries to negociate with Putin with carrots alternatively of a stick, and all time the consequence is the same, Russia is inactive doing its job. and even openly says that he is not going to let go. At the same time as Donald Trump announces his next breakthrough in talks, Putin bombards Kiev and declares that “He will solve all problems by military means”. So Russia has always responded to any submission from the West, and that will surely not change, and so it is possible to forget about bringing peace by specified methods. If the U.S., in agreement with Europe, does not introduce a fresh "armour race", Putin will not halt anything from continuing military action and worse than Ukraine.
