The Ministry of wellness began work on regulation, which would let 15-, 16- and 17-year-olds to visit a gynecologist without a parent or legal guardian and to give their own consent to the "health certificate", said the head of the Ministry of Izabela Leszczyna.
Following announcements of the introduction of compulsory sexual instruction (as part of alleged wellness education) to schools, the government is preparing for the consequences of systemic incentives for minors to engage in premature sexual intercourse.
We are talking about work on abolishing the work to visit a gynecologist a teenager aged 15-18 in the presence of a parent or legal guardian. This was announced by Minister of wellness Izabel Lestin in a conversation with the Polish Press Agency.
Under current regulations, people under the age of 18 cannot go to a doctor’s appointment alone. For patients between 16 and 18 years of age, the doctor must get consent for examination and treatment from the parent and the teenager. This is due to the Doctor and Dentist Competition Act and the Patient Rights Act and the Patient Rights Ombudsman.
Health hotel wants to change that. – We started working on regulation that would let 15-, 16- and 17-year-olds to visit a gynecologist without a parent or legal guardian and to give their own consent to wellness care, but excluding benefits that pose an increased hazard to the patient said Leschina.
The intention is obvious. MEN’s sexual abuse of immature young people must consequence in a immense increase in the number of “teen years” of pregnancy. Hence, we request to meet the needs of minors who will learn in school early, that human sexuality serves unfettered entertainment, and that possible consequences in the form of an conceived kid can easy be disposed of.
"For a long time, women's organisations have been insisting on specified changes. They argue that the legal age of sexual activity permits is 15 years, and so teenagers of this age should be able to consult a gynecologist themselves," the PAP confirms.
At the beginning of the year, fresh Left MP Wanda Nowicka argued in an interview to the Ministry of wellness that “many teenage girls do not want to (e.g. ashamed) so that the parent knows that he plans to start or have begun sexual intercourse. They are frequently aware that this could endanger an unplanned pregnancy and would like to study to a gynecologist, but the gynecologist cannot accept the patient, examine her or issue a prescription if she does not come with the parent (career).”
The patient's age was the authoritative reason that at the end of March president Andrzej Duda refused to sign a law abolishing prescriptions for medicines called lying emergency contraception (a pill “day after”) and in practice having double effect – besides early-porn. The veto bill allowed people from 15 years of age to buy them without the request for a guardian's permission. According to the head of state, for specified young people parents should agree to usage the pill.
After the President's veto, the Ministry of wellness introduced the anticipation of buying abortion pills "day after" in pharmacies under the alleged pharmaceutical service. At the same time, he wanted lethal measures for conceived children and wellness - threatening women and girls who took them to be able to buy people over 15 on their own. However, concerns about the legality of specified a solution were raised by medical and apothecary authorities. As a result, in pharmacies that sale specified pills pharmacists in the case of underage clients require their parents' consent.
